We created The Cleanse with all skin types in mind — dry, oily, sensitive, and everyone in between. It’s an intentionally simple, fragrance-free formula that cleanses effectively without drying or disrupting skin’s pH.

Will The Cleanse remove my makeup and sunscreen?

Yes! It's a foaming facial cleanser and makeup remover in one, formulated to remove your daily makeup and mineral SPF (like Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40). To remove stubborn long-wear makeup, you may find that you need to cleanse a second time.

Can I use The Cleanse morning and night?

The Cleanse is gentle enough to be used twice per day.

Is The Cleanse safe to use around my eyes?

Yes. The Cleanse is ophthalmologist-tested and safe for sensitive eyes. It’s also suitable for contact lens wearers.

What does "pH-balanced" mean?

This means that The Cleanse won’t change your skin’s natural pH; its happy place is a pH of about 4.5 to 5.5. If your skin’s pH becomes too high or too low, it can weaken its protective barrier and open the door to dryness, irritation — even acne.

The only face wash I use!

This is the only face wash I use every day. It’s very clean and doesn’t have any toxins or chemicals in it so I know what I’m putting on. My face is good for me. It also helps with impurities and keeps my face moisturized without breaking out! I love it!

Creamy

I'm not a huge fan of cleansers that pump out as foam. I always get the sense I'm not getting an adequate amount of product. This stuff has proven to be the exception to the rule. It looks like pretty standard cleansing foam, but once you massage it into the skin it feels ultra-creamy and dense. As a second cleanse, one pump is more than sufficient. It feels cushiony on the skin and takes a surprising bit of effort to rinse, but afterward my face feels very soft and plump. Not at all dry.The ingredient list is relatively short and there are no active ingredients, which is perfect since it's a waste to include them in a product designed to be rinsed immediately after application. One negative for me is the scent. It has that weird chemically/rubbery odor you find in many fragrance-free cosmetics. If you're an oldster like me, imagine the smell of the Creepy Crawlers we used to cook up in our Thingmakers and you'll get the general idea. While I prefer the sensory pleasure of added fragrance in my skincare, it works so well I'll accept the unpleasant scent and only deduct one star.

Not a fan. I bought it because influencer Shea Whitney recommended it, said it cleans your face so well and washes all the make up off. Not for me it didn't. I would use a cotton bud with toner after washing with this, and the cotton bud came out so dirty - full of my foundation. Won't buy this again.
