Now really gluten free
This is my third review update.I have eaten about 1/3 of a can of these and so far, no gluten reaction at all (luckily I haven't gotten gluten anywhere else during this period, so I am not uncertain as I can often be). When I get glutened, within about 8 hours I can see blisters forming on my hands and feet and I get bumps on my skin elsewhere. This can be just from cross-contamination. So I am pretty sure the folks at Kirkland have fixed their gluten problem.Otherwise I love these nuts almost as much as the gluten-contaminated Trader Joe's Blister Peanuts which I had to give up. Mind you, we should all be mindful about consumption of nuts, especially peanuts, as they are very high in phytic acid which reduces your absorption of minerals from your diet (e.g., calcium, iron, zinc, and magnesium) so if you have too little or too much of these minerals in your system (and only testing can tell) consider what the impact of peanuts might be on your health (e.g., 50-80% of Americans are thought to be magnesium deficient, with serious health implications). Wouldn't it be great if manufacturers found a way to add minerals to peanuts to cancel out the phytic acid's effects? This was my second review version:==================================My original review was titled "Made in a facility that also processes wheat." and read thus:"I'll certainly be complaining to Amazon about this product. I bought 3 containers of these pricey peanuts based on what seems to be false advertising as they came up in my search for gluten free blister peanuts. The container says "Gluten Free" on the front and then, on the back, the label says the product is made in a factory that also processes wheat. This is clearly a contradiction in terms and possibly a basis for food mislabeling litigation. I had several mystery gluten reactions before I looked at the labels of everything and noticed this issue."I contacted the manufacturers and they listened to me reasonably and didn't offer to compensate me for my expenditure or reaction (I guess as far as they are concerned I could have been a psychosomatic whiner). But they did apparently change the statement on the container suggesting that they were made in a facility that also processes dairy with no mention of wheat now. I can't vouch for these being truly gluten free. Once I try them again I will update my review. So the three stars is just meant to be neutral for now. They are actually quite tasty peanuts.

Second thought about the taste, IMPROVED
12/11/23: my final review. Now I've had this can of peanuts for over a week. The peanuts look great in the can but not tasty. So then, I dry roasted them and sprinkled them with a little fine salt, and the taste improved dramatically. Today I opened up the can again and munched on a few directly from the can, and taste was unswallowable, yucky. So I went back to my way of doctoring the peanuts by dry roasting what I had taken out of the can, and sprinkled them with an adequate amount of fine salt. The taste after that was quit sumptuous. See photos of original in the can peanuts, and the home dry roasted peanuts attached. I will not eat these peanuts without dry roasting and salting these peanuts again. End of my last update. An update of review I wrote a few days ago. When I had received the can of peanuts I had immediately started munching on them. I was not impressed with the taste; they were way too dry and they just didn't have that zing i had expected. So I dry roasted about a cup on the stove and some oil came out of the peanut and coated the outside. The taste then didn't improve. But leaving the roasted peanuts out in the open to gain some moisture and I had sprinkled them with fine salt, the toasted peanuts taste improved over the top. They taste great now, and I am constantly munching on them, and they keep me from getting hungry. Great ending.*****I am a peanut connoisseur. I prefer a peanut snack over nearly any other snack. So when I saw this can of peanuts on Amazon website and the price was very attractive, I ordered it immediately. I opened it up upon arrival. The peanuts looked great but I was a little surprized about the taste. The peanuts were quite crunchy, but the taste didn't match the appearance. I kept on munching on them trying to find the delectable peanuts taste that I always enjoy. It just didn't happen. So I got about a cup of those peanuts and fried them on the stove dry, no oil or anything with them. That actually did not help, but I did see the peanuts became more shiny and they were coated with oil that migrated to the surface. I believe it was the oil taste lingering on my taste buds that kept me from the true delectable taste of great tasting peanuts. I am the only one in the family who would eat them. I will probably share them with the birds in our backyard.

Great quality
My husband thought these peanuts were too large and crunchy for snacking, so I put them in caramel popcorn and peanut brittle. Both were a big hit, and everyone said the peanuts were perfect for those items.

Good & Plenty
Have tried several other brands. The size and flavor balanced with proper amount of salt is perfect for my taste. Can't beat these Kirkland flavor nuggets for return on investment. Buy them you will like them. Also as an added feature is the container itself it's very useful for a variety storage projects.

Biggest container of peanuts I’ve ever seen
Pro- amazing container size!! But I didn’t like the peanuts. Only ate them when I was needing protein. I’m not a person to waste food. But finally had to toss.
