Much better than the version that comes as standard
The original under-arm strap supplied as standard constantly comes unhooked from the main body, and is frankly a pain in the arse. Inevitably, I eventually lost it. This version solves the issue by having a spring-loaded clip to hold it in place. You can still remove it if you want to. Frankly they should ditch the original version and have this one as standard.

It did the job I was expecting it to do!
This product stops your black rapid harness from rubbing your neck bye keeping it in place while out and about!

If you value your camera gear...
Might seem a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Excellent piece of equipment. Bought as a second unit for my second Nikon body\long lens. Don't trust cheap imitations...

If you value your very expensive lens and dslr you should buy one of these
Disliked - it's expensive!!Liked - If you are going to hang 3Kg of photographic kit on something, make sure it is good and strong - like this. This screws into the tripod bracket of my telephoto. I then use it to clip on a stainless steel carabiner (breaking load >100kg) + shoulder strap. There are complete camera strap kits that cost less than this eyelet alone, and from personal experience I wouldn't trust my camera hanging on any of them.

Replacement screw for Black rapid camera strap
This is fine to have as a spare for your black rapid camera strap, as good as the ones they come with and screw into the tripod mount on the bottom of your camera. Why they don't get 5* is as the screws do work loose even when done up tight and are checked. If one comes undone the camera goes crashing to the floor. When this happened to me it was when standing on a hard surface and the damage to the camera was hundreds of pounds in repair bill. Not ideal.

Beware of imitations!
Bought this after trying some cheap alternatives which I returned to Amazon. They are over priced for what they are, but be warned - the cheap ones have poorly cut threads which are liable to damage your camera!
