I bought this mat because I had been using a piece of wood as my soldering cover for a long time - and it was really time for an upgrade. The Preciva Soldering mat is overall very nice - it is thick, so you can use it being sure that you won't damage the surface on which you use it. · It protects my table top from damage by the soldering iron and chemicals. · It has lots of areas to hold small parts + it has a magnetised area. This is probably the perfect mat to use for jewellery or repairing mobile phones – as it has many places you can organise small components and screws. · The things I solder are typically very tiny and I was having issues with constantly dropping parts or having them roll onto the floor – No more with this mat everything stays where I can see it. · It smelled a little funny at first but it was as fine after I let it air out for a couple hours. 👉 I've been using this mat for about 2 months now, and I really like it! It has convenient holders, resists high temperatures, and does everything I need it to. ☑ Pros: ✔ Can withstand high temperatures ✔ Many slots to store elements / small screws etc. ✔ Anti-slip design ✔ Flexible and durable ❎ Cons: - none (I will update if I find anything on continuous use) Highly recommended!

Very good and fit for purpose. Can’t say much more than that as it’s a soldering mat.

It certainly helps to contain those tiny components that always want to escape. Not only are there lots of dedicated places to put them as you dismantle your clock/toy/whatever, the 'mat' is lipped to stop things rolling off accidentally. The even-tone light blue also makes it easier to spot small components. Much better than the cutting-mats I usually use. The lidded compartments don't want to stay closed but you could weigh them down I suppose, which may improve things a bit. The mat arrived rolled up and 1 week later, it is still not laying completely flat - nearly but not quite. It is not perfect but it is the best solution I have found so far for working on items with easily lost components - how many of us have lost a Seiko watch-band friction sleeve?! I have not used it for soldering yet and don't currently see any obvious advantage but I will give it a go next time I need to solder something.

I’ve got this for my work , this really helps me to be more organised and stop hunting around for the small parts I’ve just dismantled. The mat is made from a high heat resistant silicone, it has magnets embedded in a couple of the small parts side trays It has 3 small lidded compartments and places for screwdrivers and small tools, It has a very small raised edge which helps contain the paints you are working on. I’ve been using this for just over a week and without a doubt it has helped me organise and keep things all together. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long before I’ve purchased something like this.

Just bought this as my many and varied hobbies require me dismantling and re-assembling a range of objects. I am a huge fan of the screw retainers and parts pots built in to this. The fact it is silicone means it will be both non-stick (solder and most adhesives) with very high heat resistance. While it is a useful feature it is one to be aware of in certain situations there are 2 areas of the mat that contain magnets both in similar area of the mat (thumbs up), if you are working on magnetic media (hard drives) this may cause issues if you are too close. It doesn't really matter what you are taking apart if it's got lots of small bits you need this mat . I'm very glad I got one. I've been looking for a while and this one has come at a price I'm happy to pay, quality and value in one

This mat is great to have for anyone that does tear downs and repair of electronic equipment due to its antistatic properties and heat resistance. Please see my video where I test the heat resistance @ 350 degrees Celsius which is the average soldering temperature people use. The white heat marks dissapear real quickly and leave no visible sign of heat damage to the mat. The upper middle compartment is the perfect length to hold KSGER style T-12 soldering tips as you can see in my pic. It also has smaller compartments for the older Hakko 936 style soldering tips. The other compartments are also well laid out, and I especially like the screw position compartment which has 122 numbered holes for small screws from laptops, phones etc.. There is also areas with magnets inside the mat for holding screws to prevent you dropping them. All in all its a great accessory to a soldering and repair bench and is just the right size in my opinion.

I am a nerdy tech gadget maker and this is great. It allows me to be nerdy in more rooms in my house now I've mounted on a board so it's mobile while not as floppy as a dead fish. Each area is great, little flaps to cover your nuts or anything else you choose. Really is heat resistant too, so all round a good little station. Just mount it on a board for multi room nerdy fun.

Preciva Tappeto per saldatura in silicone 45x30 cm – Ottimo prodotto, resistente e ben fatto Dopo diversi mesi di utilizzo posso dire che questo tappeto per saldatura in silicone della Preciva è un ottimo acquisto per chi lavora con componenti elettronici, saldature o piccole riparazioni. La qualità dei materiali è eccellente: il silicone è spesso, resistente al calore, e non si è mai rovinato, neanche dopo molte sessioni di saldatura. Nessun segno di bruciature, deformazioni o usura, anche con punte calde appoggiate direttamente sul tappeto. Gli inserti magnetici integrati sono davvero comodi per tenere in ordine viti e piccoli componenti senza rischio di perderli. Anche gli scomparti sagomati e le scanalature sono ben progettati per appoggiare strumenti e organizzare il lavoro. Le dimensioni (45x30 cm) sono ideali per un banco da lavoro compatto: abbastanza grande da offrire spazio, ma non ingombrante. In conclusione è un tappetino da lavoro davvero ben realizzato, resistente e funzionale. Lo uso da mesi e non ha mai dato problemi, anzi ha reso il lavoro molto più ordinato e sicuro. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un tappeto da saldatura solido e duraturo.

Die Unterlage hat sich in der Praxis schneller bewährt, als ich erwartet hatte. Bei Arbeiten an Notebooks, Smartphones u. ä. habe ich bisher immer die kleinen Schrauben und Ersatzteile auf Tellern oder in Schälchen sortiert. Hier und da ist dabei etwas durcheinander gekommen. Zudem hat sich das Werkzeug durchaus auch mal von alleine bewegt und war dann nicht mehr da, wo man es gerade brauchte. Die vielen Ablagen im Rasterformat helfen beim Schrauben und Kleinteile sortieren, die Magnete und größeren Fächer beim Werkzeugablegen. Ordnung beim Arbeiten tut mir gut und deswegen habe ich einige Vorteile durch diese Matte. Die Rutschfestigkeit hat beim Schrauben zudem mehr Sicherheit vermittelt, kein Geräte rutschte. Auch das Arbeiten mit dem Lötkolben fühlt sich Dank der Hitzebeständigkeit nun besser an als vorher mit wechselnden Unterlagen. Die Ordnungsfächer lassen sich gut Öffnen und Schließen und die Größe der Matte kommt mir entgegen, da ich nach erledigter Arbeit nicht lange nach einem Platz dafür suchen muss. Ein anfänglicher Silikon-/Essiggeruch hat sich nach zwei Tagen gelegt. Reinigen ist leicht, da, vergleichbar zu Silikon-Küchengeräten, nicht viel an der Matte haftet. Insgesamt habe ich zwischen vier und fünf Sternen hin- und herüberlegt, mich dann aber aufgrund des geringen Preises bei ordentlicher Qualität für fünf Sterne entschieden, da es viereinhalb nun einmal nicht gibt. P. s.: mein meistgesuchtes Utensil, die "Stimmgabel", um SIM-Kartenfächer am Smartphone zu öffnen, hat jetzt einen festen Platz mit Deckel, in der Matte. Kein Suchen mehr :-)

This is a great work Matt fir many uses. I added this to my work area to using for soldering and working on small electronics. There are so many little spots to use to organize tools and such it's great. I especially love the grid for screws I was constantly searching for ways to keep screws safe before. Very pleased it's a good value for the size.

Made of Soft material no scratches on repairs works plenty space for screws.
