Do not buy this one for the sole purpose that it will be delivered by Yodel who are always late. Look for the same product from a different seller or do not use express delivery here. But the product itself is great so I gave 5 stars! Works very well and easy to use

Fits my C8 perfectly, as expected. It's relatively fragile but I was aware of this before purchasing and am careful handling it as my eyes are at stake. Overall a great product at a good price arrived in time for the partial eclipse this year. One happy amateur astronomer

Works just great. Good design. The views of the sun with this filter is amazing. The filter is held in very firmly in place so no worries about it falling out.

It’s a good filter, but it’s very fragile. It would be a lot better if it was made out of glass instead of a very thin film that can hardly be cleaned. When you first take it out of the box, the filter itself is not flat and it appears wrinkly, so at first it might look like there’s something wrong with it. When you expose it directly to the sun, the plastic holding the filter itself will expand with the heat and the filter will become as firm as a drum, that is the way it’s supposed to be. Be careful, because in this state it doesn’t take much for it to break... it’s as delicate your grandma’s antique china. Make sure to use the included Velcro straps, because an accidental exposure to the sun of even as short as 1/1000 of a second will be enough to blind you permanently. It’s not worth the risk.

No complaints about this item. It does the job, though I'm not sure how the materials can come close to what is being charged for this item. Overpriced, hence the 3 stars. Probably paying for peace of mind, rather than a do-it-yourself job at a much cheaper price.

This product works well. It fits my CPC 800 perfectly. It come with Velcro tabs for safety backup but it fits very positively, snapping in place. The only negative is that it is a fairly thin film of plastic so keep the original box to keep it stored in. If you left it out it could be torn if miss treated. The box fits nicely. Viewing was fine.

That it is safe and fits good on the scope.

I knew that it probably wouldn't fit my Skywatcher 8" but I had to try as a could not get one specifically for my model. But of course it didnt fit. The build quality is really good and I like the velcro to secure it further. Though it is ridiculously expensive.
