DARKBEAM Infrared Torch ir 940nm Night Vision Light Flashlight LED Rechargeable Mini, ir Illuminator with Long Range & High Power, Focus Adjustable for Hunting, Observation, Search, with Mount

This infra red torch is so powerful. I bought it to use with my x32 for extra illumination using the infra red on the x32. I will be using outdoors in all terrains and conditions and I'm not in the least worried about moisture or damage as its pretty tough and very well made. I can confirm the the spot beam is so powerful when viewing at distance through other infra red devices it blinds the dotted area of the object. Thats why I believe it's perfect for use with a infra red scope. I use mine with spread coverage for a larger illumination as I'm not really tracking or hunting. You pull the front lenze forward or backward for the spread and focus of the light. The focus is a little tighter but that's down to moisture protection so it's expected. It also comes with add on for operating the light on a vehicle, attached to clothing or mounted with a sight which is it's intended use. It's quality in design and build is right up there with the best and that's why I believe I got absolute value for money. The one thing I will say there's very little on using it in the way of manufacturer instruction so best to say now 3 modes are operated by the add on and if your using as a torch with just the button push no modes except on/off. I totally recommend this for hunters or ratting. I also recommend it for additional ir illumination for sports and outdoor such as hiking at night and terrain. You can also use it indoors for exploring abaonded buildings and caves as extra ir for your devices. This is a great torch and go get one, you wont be disappointed. Totally recommend 100% One point to everyone. This is not a standard torch and is useless to you if you don't have an IR device to use with it!

Excellent stealth IR torchlight for gun mounting on Air. Surprisingly good, recommended for up to 100yd.

With a good night vision camera or scope this is very powerful ir light source, lit the area up completely had to not zoom to control brightness in camera lens, does what it's intended for

Supplied battery after multiple charges and discharge cycles, only has a capacity of 1500mah which is much lower than the stated 2000mah so not happy at all for the price paid as its only a cheap torch with an ir led!

Works perfectly so glad it worked and was delivered fast as needed for my permission shoot as my other device let me down and this is much better and smaller than my old one Would buy again

Honest and Technical review: The product I am reviewing is the 940nm model. I tested the supplied 2000mAh with my profession Li-ION battery charger / discharger / tester. I was initially disappointed that the out-of-the-box battery voltage was only 0.8v. This would normally indicate a duff or very over-discharged cell. My charger can recover under-voltage cells by starting with a very low charging current. I cannot vouch for the supplied charger as I didn't use it. The battery eventually managed to take a charge and I put it through several charge and discharge cycles. The final result was better that expected. The battery managed to provide 2200mAh at a discharge rate of 700mA. This exceeds the 2000mAh on the battery label. Now onto the rated power of the torch. The listing states 10Watts. When I tested the torch with a fully charged battery (4.2v), the current draw was 0.87A. The calculated power (Volts x Amps) was therefore 3.7 watts, that's less that 40% of the claimed output. The body of the torch is machined aluminium and has a quality feel to it. The torch is small enough to fit in a pocket. I would expect the battery life to be at least of couple of hours based on my testing. I guess my biggest criticism with this torch is that it would be far too easy to accidently leave it switched on if you don't have a method of seeing the output. Most mobile phones can see the beam but I wouldn't recommend shining it in your own face to see if you can see the faint red glow of the LED. I hope you find this review helpful.

cette lampe ne fonctionne pas bien, elle clignotte sans arrêt et la pile se décharge très vite

Sehr helle Lampe. Mit 850 nm kann der Beam eine sehr große Reichweite decken. Für alle mögliche Funktionen geeignet.

Même pas 3 mois et ne fonctionne plus ! Aussi bien la lampe en elle même, que la pile! Impossible de recharger la pile! Et en mettant une autre pile bien rechargée la lampe ne fonctionne toujours pas ! Honteux.

Gut aber bitte nicht mit der Absicht kaufen dass man es unter normaler Handy Kamera sehen kann. Diese Taschenlampe ist und funktioniert nur unter Nachtsichtoptroniken
