Works with my model of Chromebook and Ipad
I'm able to print from my 2020 Acer Chromebook 311 Spin and 2021 IPad. I installed Canon Print Business in both but the Chromebook doesn't use it so I deleted it. I installed Mopria instead. When I want to print from the Chromebook I open the item I want to print, click on the print button, click on more options, click on the printer. Printing is super fast. I was printing off 30 pages of the same flyer and they flew out of the printer faster than I could catch it. Lesson: Pull out the paper holder first.Like all the other reviews I read the little window is hard to read. I used a flashlight to set it up. Now that the printer is in place and there's plenty of light I can see the window just fine.Set up was easy.I was not able to connect it to my HP Chromebook which is over 10 years old. Old enough that it stopped getting updates last year. I wasn't planning on printing anything from it but wanted to see if it could if I wanted to.So, yes, it connects to Chromebook but not every Chromebook. My IPhone has airprint so I assume I can print from that too, if I wanted to.

Two Years In – Still Going Strong
I've had this Canon laser printer for two years now, and it's been a great experience overall. It prints quickly and clearly, and the setup was simple. There was one issue where the Wi-Fi connection stopped working and I couldn’t print over the air. But when I contacted support, the representative was very helpful and guided me step-by-step to reset the network settings — it was fixed quickly. Now I’m about to buy my second toner. I definitely recommend this printer to others looking for a reliable home or office printer.

Prints well/ fast - The scanner (and software) are useless...
I have to scan many documents of a variety of paper sizes and I'm having a heck of a time doing that because I have to constantly run back and forth from the machine to the computer terminal, clearing errors all the time! The warnings are so frequent that the scanner is barely usable! I honestly feel like I was scammed!I was always under the impression that Canon produced good products, but they must have been on vacation when they designed this multifunction machine! The printer is fine. No complaints there. The scanner and software is so bad, I half believe that they intentionally designed it this way to aggravate users! If the slightest thing is unexpected it halts your scan process and you cannot proceed unless you provide input from the computer (which is not always next to the machine Canon)! You cannot clear the error from the scanner which is ridiculous! That's where your performing the task! Also, in this day and age, computers have enough memory and processing power to allow for automatic cropping (and de-skew), doing away with the need to specify the paper size! Using microswitches and the contrast of paper from the scanner bed background via imaging, it should be fairly easy to determine or at least estimate paper size to the nearest likely size. If you don't set the paper size correctly when using the flat bed, it throws a warning and requires user interaction, again at the computer terminal! At the very least, they could give us the option to NOT halt the job when there is warning (no interaction required) OR allow the user to clear the error at the machine itself! The communication between the computer and the machine appears to not be synchronized properly or severely delayed because after a considerably amount of time, it throws a warning stating that "originals were left in the feeder" when attempting to load the next batch. The software thinks you just inserted originals immediately after the previous job when it was 30 sec to 60 sec ago! So I have to wait more than a minute before I can load the next job to avoid a warning that (you guessed it) requires user interaction at the computer terminal??? Seriously???On top of that, sometimes the automatic feeder grabs more than one sheet at a time and damages originals because the "throat" is not entirely smooth! There are edges in there! Why???And could it hurt to allow scanning of non-standard paper lengths like banners for example? Give us a banner mode!I would expect better from Canon! To summarize: the scanner is not up to modern standards and was not designed with productivity and workflow in mind (perhaps to anger users), there should be auto-crop, auto-de-skew, auto-blank page detection standard in a modern scanner, and at the very least, allow clearing errors from the machine which is where your physically doing the scanning! Can I have my money back please??

AirPrint! Easy setup. Duplex! Make Booklet. Killer features!
Super nice printer! The parts are a bit plasticky, so be gentle during initial setup. The LCD display is hard to read because, there is no backlight, use a flashlight. Set up is easy although you may need to move certain parts in order to close the toner access door after removing all the shipping tape from the unit. I'm connecting it directly via ethernet to my router. Add the printer in Mac OS via Bonjour. Because it has AirPrint I could immediately print wirelessly from my iPhone. The duplex feature will save paper and I love the make booklet feature. This is an amazing value for the times you really need to print. It has a web interface for further control. Clean quick prints
Work well, I enjoy the double side printing option. Makes it easy to use and prints clearly. It worked so well I bought a second unit for another location. I seem to be getting plenty of page prints off of the sample toner cartridge. This won't dry out like the laser printer ink

Yes
This printer is exactly what I needed. I've been using an HP and it can't handle large jobs. For the money this printer is worth every penny
