Stock code EDP0008 The box is manufactured by Gloucester Composites who has over 25 years experience in producing meter boxes for the UK and Irish markets Fitting instructions: 1.The left hand side of the box has pre-drilled holes into which the door pins are inserted. 2.Hold the door and insert the solid stainless steel pin into the bottom recess. 3.Press in the brass spring pin fully and slide into the top recess allowing the pin to spring back into the pre-drilled hole. 4.Close the door as normal and lock

A: It’s GRP plastic so fibre glass. It can be painted

**Q: Can the door be hung right or left? Current door is hinged on the right when facing the unit**
A: Hi, yeah,  it's symmetrical. Hinges are equidistant from each end and the latch is central.

**Q: help please, my box dimensions are 60+40 with a lop 39.5 x 57.5 and the hinges start 7.5cm from the top, will this do? thanks**
A: I suspect it won't fit your box, as the top of the hinge on this door is 55mm from the top of the door and the bottom of the hinge is 85mm from the top of the door.  Best measure the existing door if you still have it and then check with the manufacturer.

**Q: Is this suitable for a left hand opening, or just a right as shown?**
A: It’s really for right hand opening but could be hung so it opens on the left but the elec symbol would be upside down and the hinge hole may not be suitable.

It fits a outside electric and gas box as my auntys wouldnt shut properly and was open to the elements . gas and electric companies no longer fit these. you have to buy your own replacement doors . meausure your sise.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ pretty good quality

My utility box cover broke off in the recent storm. Firstly I tried to just replace the pins holding it on but no joy there so bought the whole door. The quality is good and it fits well onto the box but the retractable spring pin on the hinge kept refusing to pull out ( the spring got stuck ) and it took several attempts -until I simply gripped it with a pliers and it popped out. Now the cover/door was on but the lock will not work ,there is not enough of a gap for it to grip on the box. I'm sure that someone more handy would solve this problem but I have little patience left. So tape is keeping it closed.
