Uses the same 8 PIN PCI-E power connector too so installation was a breeze. To those interested in hosting LLMs locally I saw a MASSIVE improvement running Deepseek-R1 on my machine with this card. Although VRAM only increased from 6GB to 8GB, the tensor cores really pull their weight and make specialised LMs hosted locally a very real possibility. Review: 2 hdmi ports, 2 display ports - I got this as an upgrade from an rx 590 8gb card. I could still play modern games on high and most settings on ultra but more and kore games were making it difficult to use. Or settings were locked down. It's a piece of cake to install physically and as it is nvidea there's an easy peasy software suite to go with it. Non of the faffing i had with the rx card. Playing games have been seamless and allowed upscaling options for the likes of AC Valhalla with beautiful results. Waaay higher frame rates and better more beautiful displays.
