Loop Official Connector Cord For Loop Earplugs - Magnetic Tug-Resistant Safety Cord - Charcoal

I bought two pair of the loop earplugs because I have a big concern for losing them as I put my helmet on and off. This loop cord does not help for that purpose but as it turns out, I got an invitation to a concert where I took my loop ear plugs and this cord came in handy. I was able to remove the plugs and not worry that I would drop them in the crowd. I probably looked like a librarian geek but I wasn't there to be looked at so ... who cares! It was a good concert and I didn't have ringing ears all the way home.

The Loops totally stay in my ears, but I don’t need them in all the time and the magnets on this hook the ends together like a necklace. Love it! I also love that they are a cord and not silicone. Looks better in my mind!!! 😎

I was losing my Loops to the point I couldn't use them anymore. So this cord is now essential. All Loops should come with one. It also includes a slightly bigger, flexible silicone pouch that fits the Loops with the cord. Much easier to confidently store the Loops in there than in the hard container the Loops came with, which is so fiddly I drop the Loops half the time I use it. The magnets are cool, the cord is designed to fit the Loops and not fall off, and this colorway is really neat. Loops, you should add these as an automatic part of a Loops purchase, or at least a strongly recommended accessory!

Really great product, except..... Loved wearing them all the time, having quick access to use was perfect. Best part, magnetic pieces that kept them in place and without falling off. Worst part is the piece that hold the loops is rubber (not the issues) but actually disconnects from the neck rope (this is the issues). This makes no sense at all, and I've lost my loops now. I have the rope, but no loops, they have fallen off, nowhere to be found. Really disappointed that these two great products that are made, and yet it's made to disengage. Which is a total design fail on the company. I mean why make them like that? So upset Iost my loops. Will I buy another holder and loop set? A big NOPE, not unless they redesign the product that goes around the neck.

I purchased this before a long haul flight to avoid losing an earplug while sleeping on the plane. I was skeptical at first because of the steep price for the Loops-branded cord. Not only was this the perfect solution for what I needed, but I am obsessed with the cord and will no longer wear my loops without it. They’re perfectly designed for loops and fit snugly on each club without interfering with the fit or comfort. Not only are they cute and lightweight, but the magnetic feature is ridiculously helpful. It snaps together like a necklace making them impossible to lose and letting you wear them around. Apart from travel, I wear my loops on and off throughout the day to help with focus when working. I always leave them around the house and misplace them. This is the perfect solution for me.

I really like this necklace, I think it's really effective at it's job of keeping your earplugs a little more secure and making them less likely to be lost. The construction is fairly simple with a cable that ends with a magnet on either side, the magnets are smooth and feel a bit weighty, beyond that is the silicone connector piece it can be removed from the cable. The cable is soft, but kind of a pain to wash and it will irritate your skin when it's dirty. It connects at the magnets like a plug. It's pretty easy to pop the silicone piece (and therefore your earbuds) off the cable. This has never been a big issue for me. I suspect this design is to prevent you from accidentally ripping your earbuds out of your ears (ouch!) as this happened to me for the first time while sleeping, but my earbuds did stay in my ears and were easy enough to reconnect. I want to clarify that I have a toddler and this cable lets me keep track of my earbuds a lot easier when they inevitably steal them and play with the magnets and use it as a necklace. I have never lost my earbuds. They have also never tried to remove the earbuds from the cable probably because they think it is all one piece. Additionally I suspect this would work on a lot of wireless earbuds too, because the way it attaches is under the silicone piece on an earbud. I would recommend these, but if you want something more secure I'm aware of independent seller called Purple Heart Design that makes similar necklaces and even earring variations that use a clip instead of this plug system. If you aren't super active when using the earbuds, I recommend this necklace. If you are an active person, or a little one who isn't super aware of their body yet I would recommend the clip version. This has been a life saver. I have to use loops on a daily basis since I suffered a vestibular concussion. Loud sounds like sirens, alarms and trains make me loose my balance. I have lost several pairs of loops since the accident almost a year ago. I found this item a few months ago and it is a game changer. I even fell asleep with my loops around my neck one night and pulled on them in my sleep. Thought I had snapped it, but it had just become disconnected at the end and it clicked right back into the magnetic closure. Since buying this item, I’ve been able to keep one pair of loops around my neck at all times. Awesome product.

The concept is great; however, there is a way for you to detach the earplugs from the rest of the chain. It keeps coming apart when I am not trying to. I’m on an environment where I need to be able to pull them out frequently and fast, and I have almost lost it multiple times. It’s a good product and works great, but I would be careful on purchasing thing depending on the environment and need for them. I am probably going to buy another kind because it just doesn’t work for me.

Umm ...awesome!! Purchsred one for my kids loops, then had to buy a pair for mine....then realized they fit on my jlab air pops...so got a 3rd pair...stops me losing the odd 1 in my bra when i take one out to interact or talk to people or whatever - easy to disconnect if i dont want cable on. My friend got a pair for her loops after seeing mine and loves them. I did try an ebay/generic one but magnets are crap, the length isnt right - these are perfect. They are expensice for what they are, but they arent annoying like the cheap ripoffs.

As someone with sensory issues from AuDHD, Loop earplugs have really made a difference for me. But I lost my very first set of earloops within a month and that too in the middle of a vacation where i really needed those. So the first time I looked at these connector cords, I just knew I had to get them. Since then, using my loops in public and crowded places have been a lot easier since I can just keep them hanging on my shoulder whenever I don't feel like using them and just as easily use them whenever I do need the loops. Also, the connectors are quite convenient if you sleep with them. No chance of the earplugs randomly rolling off the bed and into some dusty corners now (yes, i have had that experience without these). One definite negative feed back is that the silicon part that actually hangs on to the earplugs get easily detached from the neck band and I suspect that would keep happening as time passes. I wish you would make the silicon part have a better way to be secured to the neck band. Because now I am scared of losing the earplug together with that silicon part (although it doesn't happen too often yet, but often enough to bother me). Apart from this little issue, I would say this connector cord is worth investing in if you use your earplugs regularly and outdoors. A tad overpriced, yes, but quite worth it in the long term.
