I bought one of these and it worked amazingly. Will probably buy two more for our summer bbq.

It works. I thought I was buying something that is BOTH usb rechargeable and battery, so that’s on me for not reading closely; I’m returning for one that is. On battery it is quiet and works. The flys don’t land on food or items near the blades, but will be juuussst out of reach. Still had to cover my coffee mug. Was thinking it might be more effective if the shiny bits were in both sides of fan blades.

This works great against bugs bothering food you set outside for your family to enjoy. And if you accidentally get too close the blade stops and doesn’t hurt you.

Product worked for the first few days. But last night it completely stopped working. When you live in Texas the summers are not only hot but flies are everywhere. So you put out every concoction, potion and device found online to keep those suckers away. Unfortunately, this device was not worth the money and it will be finding its way to my trash can!

Loved them . I bought them for my daughter’s outdoor birthday party (32nd) and they were chic enough to fit right in.

Not gonna lie, this product is pretty janky and there's no support to fix the issue. I ordered this product for next day delivery for a July 4 BBQ and was severely disappointed that the product just doesn't work for it's intended purpose. The Amazon support page for this product took me to instructions for setting up a completely unrelated product and the troubleshooting QR code at the bottom of the product took me to buy more products from the seller's website with no help on this product, leaving me up to my own devices for troubleshooting. After I submitted the product for return, I figured a hail Mary try with different *types* of batteries couldn't hurt, and boy was I surprised. So it turns out the instructions for this product are just terrible. The product comes with 2 USB to DC charging cables and instructions to use 2 AA batteries per fan. I originally set up the fans with 2 fresh, disposable AA batteries and got the saddest, barely moving fan. It looked like it was severely depressed and gave up on trying. I plugged it into a wall outlet and it perked up, but the problem with these teeny short cables is that then I can't use it on an outdoor picnic able full of food. I then put in 2 freshly charged *rechargeable lithium* AA batteries, and the fan sprung to life, mostly. The battery life with the lithium batteries is pretty terrible, and half the time it doesn't turn on, but if you give it a good spank on the bottom of the fan where the battery cover is, to jangle the batteries to touch whatever internal component it needs to connect with, then the fans will turn on. The instructions should state this product only worked when plugged in or with a fully charged lithium AA batteries and needs a good whack to work. It's probably not worth $40 for these 2 fans, but given my poor planning for hosting a holiday BBQ and the convenience of 1-day delivery, I guess this is fine. We'll eek on through.

I purchased 2 of these in March. I have used them 3 times. One still works but the other will not turn on. I have tested it plugged in to usb and also by putting in 2 new batteries to no avail.
