Goes on smooth and covers well, good base coat
I used this primer for a couple of DIY projects, including prepping some old interior doors and new MDF skirting boards. It applied really smoothly with both a roller and a brush, and dried fairly quickly without any strong odour. The finish it left behind was clean and even, giving the topcoat a perfect base to cling to. Coverage was great — I only needed one coat in most cases, and a light second coat where the surface was a bit more porous. The 2.5L tin went a long way. I didn’t experience any flaking or bubbling, and it bonded nicely to surfaces that had been previously painted. Pros: Great coverage and adhesion Fast drying with minimal smell Works well on both wood and plaster Cons: Needs proper surface prep for best results Not ideal for exterior use

Easy to use, covers well and dries quickly. Get a good finish which make it great when putting the top coats on.

need contact
The quality of the paint is good for coverage,.From reviews stating that it has no odour, and it was written down also on the tin,i find this untruthful .I have done just one coat and its very strong odour, got the window open all night ,not able to put the heating on ,its 2 days now and the smell has been distubing. When painting the ceiling it can drop like all paints ,i am fine with that, for me it was just a few drops, but someone indicated that they experienced no dripping,?even a few drops will occure,

Awesome paint
Done one coat and wow I am very impressed...I may even leave it as one coat as it has covered the wall nicely ...applied with a brush and it was a great consistency, didn't drip and dried fast ... definitely good value for money ☺️

My number one preferred Acrylic primer/undercoat
I just love this Acrylic Primer/Undercoat and it is my preferred primer. I use it everywhere indoors/outdoors. It goes on barewood really lovely and smoothly but does need two coats for best coverage. I usually prep the area then apply one coat, allow to dry then very lightly sand with a fine sandpaper like a 240/320 grit then apply a second coat. Before applying 2 coats of top coat. Been Acrylic it washes off brushes, equipment etc really easy with warm soapy water. Leyland is a very good brand of paint in my opinion.

Consistent product
Used multiple times for painting MDF. Have also now tried it watered down with a spray gun. Is it pretty thick and does dry quickly

Good amount of coverage helps smooth walls
Goes quite far. Don't expect it to cover walla like normal emilsionwill still br streaky looking but leaves walls very nice and smooth after sanding and adding to the adhesion. Easy to use and good finish on walls woodwork alike. Covers well reasonably priced and smooths the walls right out. Eater based so jot too messy to clean up
