I purchased this MacBook Air on August 15, 2025, and it arrived in excellent “premium” condition. For being a 5-year-old laptop, it’s still holding up incredibly well. I bought it as I was starting my freshman year of college and needed a powerful, reliable device.Previously, I was using a Dell Latitude E7440 from 2013, which was really showing its age—still running Windows 10 with poor audio quality, outdated graphics, and overall performance issues. Upgrading to this MacBook Air has been a huge step up in every way.The M1 chip may not be the newest anymore, but it runs beautifully for my needs. The only feature I wish this generation had is a touchscreen, but honestly, that’s a small tradeoff considering how much of an upgrade this has been.My only real complaint is that the screen tends to pick up everything—lint, dust, fingerprints, and smudges—but aside from that, I’ve been extremely happy with it. I bought this MacBook as a gift to celebrate my son's middle school entrance and birthday. I had a lot of concerns before making the purchase. I was torn between getting a brand-new Chromebook in a similar price range or the M1 MacBook I had always wanted myself. Since it was a used item sold on Amazon, I was very anxious.With all these mixed feelings, I finally placed the order. When the MacBook arrived, I was overjoyed. It was in almost like-new condition, and the battery health was over 90%, so I couldn’t have asked for more.After reading some negative reviews, I realize I may have just been lucky — but in the end, what truly matters is that my son is still using it without any issues to this day.

The display is like new, no blemishes or scratches.

This laptop is rated as being as Like New condition. That's the reason I purchased it. I would say this condition is actually good. The laptop came with no blemishes on the exterior except one or two minor scratches that are not noticeable unless you're really looking for them, but the keyboard is dirty. There's a LOT of dust and debris under the keys. It hasn't affected typing yet, but even in broad daylight it looks like someone spilled ritz cracker crumbs underneath the keyboard. That's something I'll have to get fixed. My other issue is the battery health. Right now it's sitting at 86%. That's not great, but not terrible, but again, not what I would call "like new." As a whole, his laptop was a great deal at 400ish dollars, but the battery health and the state of the keyboard means I'll have to spend some money on repairs in the not so distant future. For those reasons, I'd give it a 3.5.

I recently purchased an Amazon renewed Apple MacBook Air (Late 2020 with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD) to use for simple tasks. What an absolutely outstanding deal! The price I paid was fantastic and the condition of the laptop I received was beyond pristine - it honestly looked like it came straight out of the original Apple box. It included a charging brick, power cord and arrived with a nearly fully charged battery. This experience has completely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely consider another Amazon renewed product in the future, as my needs dictate. Highly recommended!

The MacBook Air 2020 with M1 chip arrived like new within 1 day of ordering. The build quality is like new. Battery operates efficiently. The screen resolution is excellent. All functions appear to work. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Renewed M1 Macbook Air 2020 working great. Came with a new battery. However, the non-Apple charge cable shipped with the Mac is of poor quality, and the power adapter was an Apple 61 watt. That said I'm a happy customer.
