Great Results
The media could not be loaded. I did a lot of research on which bread maker to get, please understand, money was not a factor for me and as such I researched all current available ones on the market at this time regardless of price. As someone who has worked in the IT field for almost a decade, I have become very sensitive to the amount of electronic waste we are producing as consumers, so 2 of the top variables I look for are longevity of a device, and ability to reasonably source any parts that will foreseeably need replacement due to normal wear-and-tear; in this case the bread pan will need to be replaced over time.In pretty much all of the bread makers that you will see at the top of recommendation/review blogs, the manufacturers do not offer replacement bread pans, and most of them cannot be sourced through third party/off brand vendors, which means your best bet is to try to get one second hand, which will get increasingly more difficult as time goes on.KBS at this time sells replacement pans for their machines, along with some other parts, which is a huge plus. From what I understand if you use a bread maker consistently, your bread pan will likely wear out in roughly a year or two.Another huge plus of this machine is the ceramic coated pan. That's a personal preference as I have made the decision to eliminate Teflon from my arsenal years ago due to the health warnings about it.I was a bit wary of the reviews stating these machines had terribly translated manuals, as a bread maker newb, I was most concerned about not having a beginner friendly instruction manual to help me. I did not find that to be the case at all, the manuals were perfectly understandable. I would recommend taking the time to read the quick start guide before you do anything though. It has some very important information in there, including putting liquids in first, then the dry ingredients, make a little indent in the flour for the yeast, etc.I coupled this purchase with a book that Amazon recommended that had bread machine recipes. This is what I referenced for the recipe itself and just for my white bread I used the "Soft bread" (Menu 1) setting on the machine. The bread I made is a 1.5lb medium crust loaf. It came out wonderfully and fell right out of the pan without the paddle getting stuck in it.As for the noise, I didn't find this to be any louder than I anticipated it to be, it's very tolerable.I marked where it was sat on the counter to see if it moved around, it did jiggle on the counter some, nothing crazy, but I would take care not to put this machine too near an edge.I have only made the one loaf, so longevity is still to be determined, however, all of the machines I looked at had a mixed bag of customer reviews regarding longevity, and for sure, with consistent use, you're only going to be able to use it as long as the bread pan lasts. To make a long story short, take your time, follow the instructions, and you'll get great bread. You'll even want to eat the end pieces!

Steep learning curve
I was pumped to receive my bread maker a day early and I wasted no time setting it up to try out. The instructions are poorly written as it was made in China and a Chinese person who is not very comfortable with the English language translated the manual. The other issue is this- once you hit the start button, you can't change any settings. You can't even unplug the machine to get it to reset. You have to run a full cycle before you can change the settings. So, make sure you have everything just how you want it before hitting start. The recipe book is crap... no instructions on how to swirl fruits or cinnamon in, just a list of ingredients and a bake time. It has an automatic fruit and nut dispenses but it is barely mentioned in the manual... I'll be looking on reddit for some better instructions. If someone would translate the manual better, and if the cycle reset were more intuitive, this would be a great machine. As it is, it's meh.Edit: By Youtubing the machine, I figured out that a 2-second press on the power button will cancel the cycle. I'm changing my rating to 4 stars because of this. The instructions should include this, and really need to be written by a native English speaker.

Bread is fun to make
I already own a KBS 010 bread machine which I love how it bakes bread. I’ve been a bread maker for long time. Purchasing the KBS 016, which is smaller, I tried all the different types of bread I like to make, This new machine has a smaller motor than the 010, so, of course I made my peasant bread recipe which has rye, white whole wheat and some bread flour.I used the Whole Wheat on the Menu. The bread recipe also has brown sugar and honey so I chose the medium crust color. The crust is soft and so is the bread. It’s my favorite and I love how it turned out.My next challenge for the machine was my French bread recipe. French bread menu was selected. The machine did create a chewy crust as expected, soft interior. My grandkids love sweet breads, the Spicy Apple recipe was used to try the Sweet Bread on the menu. Previous loaves were 2 lbs., this one is a 1.5lb. Nice crust and wonderful interior. This machine does not have an automatic nut and fruit container. I put the cinnamon-coated dried apples around the top of the flour. The machine distributed these pieces throughout the loaf evenly. The bread tasted so good, the kids made it disappear before I could blink. Dang, I wanted some.I always enjoy the bread mixes from Prepared Pantry so I made their Italian Country bread 2lb, light crust. Super delicious. I used Menu #1 White bread.Despite this 016 being a smaller machine, smaller motor, it did so well that I am really pleased I will be enjoying having these two machines for family gatherings and the holidays. Giving fresh bread as gifts feels truly awesome.

Awesome
Makes great dough for breads, sour breads and pizzas. Takes a bit of getting used to as instructions are awful, but once you have got the hang of it it can be faulted. Love it

Love This Bread Machine
If you ever consider getting a bread machine, this is the one to get! I found the directions clear. Selecting crust styles, and mixing/cooking options an uncomplicated process. Brad slides right out of nonstick pan. I could never knead the dough as well as this machine can. This is set it and forget it bread making at its best. Highly recommended!! Love being able to watch it in the making.

Nice machine to use
This machine is easy to use. I love all the different functions and possibilities. The pan is very easy to keep clean. I’ve made some very good doughs and bread in it. Only downside is that the instructions are written in broken English so prior experience with bread machines is helpful.
