I bought several of these for my mother to use after she had a stroke and had some left-sided weakness. She can easily hold onto it with one or two hands, and there's a convenient hole for a straw, which makes it very easy for her to use. SInce it's clear, we can see how low the beverage is and refill it in time. There's a spout built into the lid to drink directly from the cup, but she's never used it. We hand wash it at her assisted living facility, but it would be fine in the top of a dishwasher, I'm sure.

Wonderful cup. Very strong even after multiply drops. It never leaks and with long flexible neck drinking straws. It meets my severely disabled husband’s drinking needs. I have two in constant use. Retired OT

Don't know why it has 2 different lids. I only use the sippy-cup one. The lid is hard to remove, but I've found it to be spill-proof so far. However, I don't like that I have to tilt the cup until the liquid reaches where I can sip it. It should have been designed like a straw in that the sippy part should extend all the way to the bottom of the cup so that the cup doesn't have to be tilted at all to drink from it.

Bought for mother who has Alzheimer’s. She has trouble holding cups and glasses and using a straw is dangerous. Wish I knew about these earlier, they are perfect for her. She can easily hold with the 2 side handles and light weight. They are sturdy and hold up well, doesn’t spill if dropped and sippy part is safe for her. Love that it doesn’t look like a child’s sippy cup; its makes her feel good without taking away her dignity. Her caregivers were impressed and wanted to know where I found them.

First, I wish this cup was just a few ounces larger. But, I still love it. No, it is not “spill proof”; if it gets dropped, the liquid will come out the spout. But, the odds of our senior dropping his drink plummeted once he got this cup. It is easy for him to grasp the handle(s) and easy for him to set it down when he is done. The wide base on the bottom is such a help for those times when he may not get it quite flat before he sets it down. And, an unexpected plus was its light weight. Until I picked up my coffee cup and his coffee in this cup, I didn’t realize how heavy a filled glass coffee mug was for him to handle. I was a little worried he would not like the “sippy cup” design or would feel he didn’t need to use a cup like this. But, wow!! As soon as he saw it, he absolutely loved it, so my guess is he has been struggling mightily to manage regular drinking vessels and was just not letting us know how hard he was trying. This cup was a hit with our senior and has helped me feel less worried about him dropping a drink. Love it.

I bought this for my mom who has difficulty drinking. I thought it was 2 cups with 2 different types of lids, but I was wrong. It seems to work well and I have had no issues with it but the straw opening, if the cup is tilts to far, it will leak all over my mom. Otherwise the cup is helping my mom with her problem and it is a sturdy cup, easy to clean and made well.

My mom has dementia. This cup is perfect to see if she has finished her liquids without repeatedly asking her and possibly causing her to be upset.

This is an easy cup for my 97 year old bed ridden mom to use! I use it for both hot and cold drinks. She likes it too. It's easy to hold and drink from. I like that I now feel that she is safe when I give her a hot cup of coffee to drink. BTW for those who have problems getting the lid off, I find the lid easily comes off when you twist it.

Much better than drinking out a tea cup with a straw. I choke on hot drinks, so thought i would buy this. Also it's very light

this cup is fabulous mum love it

Seals well but lid is extremely hard to remove.

It's great. The only downside is that the lid is extremely hard to get off, for young and old fingers.
