We've all been there when our SAGE or BREVILLE need a clean. We then look at a YouTube tutorial of how it needs to be done because you do it so rarely! This is the product you need, it cleans just as effectively as the original for a fraction of the price. Here's to more great coffees!

This comes as a blister pack of 8 tablets.There are no written instructions.A small graphic on the box shows you can either put one in the machine and run the clean cycle or put in a container and soak your coffee dispenser thingummy(the bit where the coffee goes in on expresso machines).I decided I would do the latter as it doesnt say anything about how many rinses or anything.I soaked the dispenser inner for about 10 minutes. It did seem as though it had found some tiny bits of grime and the liquid did change to a watery pale brown .Then I soaked the cup we use for catching drips which was dark with coffee.That got about 5 mins (using same tablet as previously). It got quite a lot of the old coffee staining off so I think it would do quite well for clearing coffee residue from the machine.It doesnt say anything about removing limescale which is our main problem in kettles and coffee makers here.Anyway for actually cleaning off coffee residue, it does okay.It smells of nothing but does warn against getting in your eyes.It could really do with more precise instructions on or in the pack so that the user can know for sure they have got all the solution out afterwards .I would really like to know if it also removes limescale but there isnt any way to tell as you cant look into the machine .Because there is no way to know if it removes limescale, I shant buy more.
