Griebenschmalz- Pork Lard Spread

I wanted beef dripping, but the ludicrous postage charge prompted me to try this instead; and it's a good find. It is very well packed in paper, plastic and foil, with ice pouches added and an inner foil lid, so it arrived in perfect condition. As a weekly treat, spread on toast (and it can be spread, with a little effort, straight from the fridge), this is something to look forward to, especially if you are restricting your meat consumption. This will be a regular addition to my shopping list.

Not what I did order, I received apfel-grieben, not griebenschmalz, which I had before and I like it. Wrong wrong item.Problem n.2 package arrived cracked and covered by some kind of gel, I assume it was for keeping it cool, but it has contaminated the cracked box of schmalz, that now is in the bottom of the Trash bin.Doubly disappointed, since I know the price of this product € 0.85 in German supermarket.To much bother to send back a squashed pack of lard.
