EasyCaulk Windows & Doors (White)

The product is much different than the picture on the box. There is no sharp corner edge and there is no air pocket in the middle. It is basically a strip of rounded clay molding attached onto a skinny piece of vinyl. Altogether it is only a half inch wide which was much narrower than the picture leads you to believe, so read the details carefully. Even the curled up roll they show on the front that says "Flexible Wing Technology" is wider than the actual product. Also, the first 4 inches of product would not stick and curled up. I may be able to tack it down with a couple of brads. Altogether I was disappointed and felt that it was way too much money for what you got (10 feet). In the future I will visit a hardware store so I can get a better idea of what I am buying. I do think it will block the drafts around my basement door but it sealed by fitting into the gap and not really folding around it.

Used it to seal drafty cracks between 1925 wood frame and replacement window frame. As long as you put the pressure on the strip angled away from the direction your are going, eg. pushing back towards the part you put down first (feels counter intuitive) the ends won't curl up. I just wish you could get this in longer strips than just 10 ft. It gets a bit pricey if you have a few dozen windows in the house and need to do all four sides of the frame, but if you only need to seal one side of a window (most often the bottom) I can cover 3 window sills with 10ft.

No matter how I try to stuff them into the crevices between window frames and windows, they keep curling up which defeats their purpose. Perhaps if you put them in when the sun can heat them up, soften them, and let them lay flat............but in summer you don't want weather stripping. Good colors though.

I bought this to go around some tiles near our door, which the previous owner cut poorly and laid over wood near the door. I wanted this as a temporary solution to sharp edges and unfinished look of the tiles. It looked perfect but wasn't sticky enough to stay in place around a rounded edge, despite having cleaned it pretty thoroughly. It really didn't stick to the floor or tiles well at all, but sticks to itself well when you are trying to work with it. I'm sure part of the problem was the roughly cut tiles, but I would not use this anywhere that's going to get a lot of action or movement, unless you are going to also secure it with some other kind of stickier adhesive. BOTTOM LINE: If you want it for the vinyl, get this, it looks great, but you will need help getting it to stick well.

Easy to use. I sealled my windows by myself which cut out the cost of a handyman. Great!

When used with an additional line of caulk laid down first, this product stays well and looks professional. Wish it didn't need the additional caulk, but there isn't another product out there with the plastic finished look that this has, and it's worth it to me to purchase the additional squeeze caulk.
