Absolute Must-Have for Every Gardener's Toolkit!
I have started using these organic coco coir bricks for my seed starting and as a base for my custom soil mixes, and I am officially a convert. If you are looking for an eco-friendly, sustainable, and highly effective alternative to traditional peat moss, this is it. Why This Coco Coir Is a Game Changer: Incredible Expansion: It is so satisfying to watch these compact bricks expand! They soak up water quickly and yield a massive amount of high-quality substrate for the price. Superior Texture & Aeration: Once expanded, the coir has a wonderful, fluffy consistency. It provides excellent aeration for delicate roots while still holding onto just the right amount of moistureโmaking it perfect for seed starting and rooting cuttings. Clean and Consistent: Iโve found this to be remarkably free of weeds, debris, or salt buildup. It provides a very sterile, "blank slate" environment that gives my young plants the best possible start. Space Saver: I love that it comes as a compressed brick. It is so much easier to store a few of these on a shelf than it is to deal with massive, bulky bags of pre-moistened potting soil. Bottom Line: This is high-quality, high-nutrition, and incredibly convenient substrate. It has made my gardening process much more efficient, and my plants seem to absolutely love the airy, nutrient-rich environment. I will be keeping a steady supply of these in my shed from now on!

Good product, plants love it.
Iโm trying to end my love/hate relationship with rockwool. I heard good things from a friend and decided to try this coir. The bocks are very convenient but didnโt expand as much as I thought and was finer cut/grind than I expected. I use it with hydroponic drip system 75/25 with perlite. That mix has worked out very well. I had to add screens to the pump and drain because bits of coir washed out of the pots, especially at first. At this point it works fine, now that the initial washout is over and screens are in place. I probably will go with a different medium for drip systems because of the washout mess, but would happily use it other types of hydroponics or aeroponics as a starter medium. Even though some of what I wrote seems negative, any issues were a result of my lack of understanding about the product. I went in hoping for something like rockwool, but safe and compostable. Coir is not that. I will happily use it again for some applications now that I know what to expect from the coir bricks. I donโt have enough experience with coir to recommend it vs other brands of coir. All I can say is my plants are thriving.

Dense, vacuum packed, but you need to mix with Soil.
I was pretty rookie about house plant soil one year ago but I'm learning. One key thing: Don't create a soil that's too wet ! So this Coco retains water real well so you should mix it with tropical potting soil or normal type. If you use normal then for sure mix in some SAND or Perlite to allow drying/draining to occur... Or have a pot with lots of holes ! I bought two snake plants, now have 4/5 as they reproduce. Pretty, robust plant and lots of oxygen made ! The coco LOOKS SMALL, lightweight but it's very compacted (vacuum bag!) and you don't need lots to make soil (so good price)

Good for mushroom growing
I use this as substrate for mushroom cultivation. It is truly 100% coco coir with no additives. I had no contamination issues after pasteurizing it. I also like that the brick is easy to break apart without having to soak first. I only use about 1/3 of the brick at a time so I don't want to have to soak and break up the whole thing just to use some of it.

Amazing Quality โ A Must-Have for Gardeners!
I was really impressed with the quality of this Cococoir. It arrived clean with no unwanted dust particles and absolutely no unpleasant smellโjust a natural, earthy coconut husk scent, which I really liked. It expands about 2.5 times its original size when hydrated, which makes it super efficient and easy to store. The texture is perfect for improving aeration and drainage, which has made a big difference in the health of my plants. Plus, its water retention is incredibleโholds up to 10 times its weight in water! If youโre into gardening or need a reliable growing medium, this is definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!

Organic Coco Coir 1 Pcs Compressed Coconut
Nah - I didn't really like this. I am NOT giving this a bad rating or a good rating. I just didn't like the texture. When i cut off pieces to use, it was more like a fine sand. If you use glass containers this will tint them a brown, which I didn't like. But the fact it is coconut fiber is nice. Maybe I just need to do some more experimenting. I'm saving it for my soil based plants in nursery pots to start them out next year. We will see more then.

I bought this coco coir brick for few small planting projects, and it worked really well. I added water, it expanded nicely and produced a good amount of growing medium.

Great to grow cat grass.
Convenient growing media. It comes as described... a compressed brick, I used my hands to break off just enough for my needs and a it does expand when watered, but not as much as peat. I use it to top off soil for tropical plants and to grow cat grass. Does both well, especially for cat grass.

Not as advertised
Was very disappointed with this product. I barely got a gallon out of the brick of coco coir. It was suppose to expand to 2.25 gallons. I received it in Feb but just used it yesterday.bi wish I could return it but canโt return it as itโs wet and a mess.
