This thing is a BEAST!
Having three of the original BIQU B1's I expected nothing more than what this pointer does and that is take up all the slack that the original does not. It's it's easy to use it or just like the original ones the leveling is awesome, the print quality and the performance is just great across the board. As far as I'm concerned it's another winner! I might just have to buy another one!

4 prints= 3 fried boards.
Worked pretty well when it worked. I want to like this machine but I've spent more hours fixing it than I have printing. This is board number 3 this machine has eaten. If you like buying $60 boards that cook the drivers ,themselves and your screen this is your machine. I got 4 successful prints and now it's just a money pit. Everything is breaking or bugging.

Really Awesome for the price and the upgrades are really useful
I will admit that the first unit lasted a couple weeks and the motherboard had a problem and I had to return it for a second one which is working great. I have put 300mm+ prints and the printer worked flawlessly. I did end up getting Bed Weld for plate adhesion but that is a personnel preference.

great out the box
easy to assemble, has TMC2208 drivers instead of the TMC 2225 quiet Stepper Motor Driver module that was listed in the item description. very quit printing easy to use and print within minutes instead of hours! LOVING it so much.

Great value but with MAJOR flaws
Great feature set for the price. Flex plate, touchscreen, clean hotend connections. Overall design pretty solid. Drop-in BLTouch support is awesome too. Now to the bad. The fans are awful and started making groaning noises within 4 days. Now to the terrible. The hotend assembly is very neat, but the hotend itself is not assembled well, and filament comes out the heater block-heatbreak threading. Leads to imminent failure. Hotend is also very non-standard and cannot be replaced like a Creality Ender 3's can with a drop-in upgrade. Overall having a good time, but become hard to recommend to others with the lacking hotend quality and upgrade support because of proprietary nature.

This product is not worth to buy.
I ordered this 3d printer beginning for January 2022. I was successfully able to print test plane which came with the screen. However, I and manufacturer supporting person could not successfuly print the real 3d file. They said they knew the problem and they let me update the firmware. I tried more than 15 days or so to work this one out. We failed, so I tried to give up on this product. I believe I requested money back by returning this printer. However, somehow, I got replacement, so I just tried one more time with the replacement. The replacement was worser than the previous one. This replacement cannot raise the temperature to print. So I let it be ready to heat for overnight. It is still not ready to correct temporature. There are many error messages pop up. I sent the request to manufacture to give me the support for the problems that I got. They did not give me any response this time. So, I tried to return this one, but I don't know how I can get the refund for this since this one was replacement and I cannot find any way to return for money. Is there any way I can get the refund for this junk? You should not buy this brand. What in the world could two consecutive printer be defective on one person? May it be me?

Buy this instead of the Ender 3 V2
I have both. I purchased the Ender 3 V2 first based on its reputation. Do not waste your time with the Ender 3 V2. This printer has much better hardware and software out of the box with no need to upgrade except maybe a all metal hot end or direct drive hot end. Dual cooling fans, wider Y base, solid bed leveling mounts, better stepper motors, better board. I have issues with the touch screen OS so I run the marlin version on this LCD. When I ran the big tree touch screen OS I had bricked prints and prints would not start without manually adjusting temps or just sit there forever. Have not had any of the issues replicated under the marlin mode. Out of the box this printer has a bed leveling program and oodles of features the Ender 3 V2 doesn't have like z baby steps. Even if you like to upgrade and hack your stuff you'd be better off starting with the BIQU B1 then the E3V2 as it will save you money in the long run. Botom line, why I'd choose the BIQU B1 over the Ender 3 V2 is: Steel magnetic printing base (abs sticks perfectly without adhesion glues or tape) Better board (the board you'll end up upgrading your ender to) Touch screen (the touch screen you should upgrade your ender to, however not perfect for me) Wider y base Better motors Easier setup Dual fans Filament sensor Metal belt tensiors vs plastic

Ok, here we go: Purchased in Montreal, Canada through BIQU store fulfilled by Amazon on Prime. Pros: -Fairly compact footprint for the print volume it can achieve -Assembly is pretty straight forward -Packaging was perfect, no damage to any of the parts even though the cardboard box show signs of transport rash -Good user interface with clear menus -Overall good quality of the components. Quality control seems to be top notch. -Bed leveling is easy using a sheet of 8.5 x 11 printing paper and adjusting all 4 corner wheels and checking al the 5 points available in the menu (NE, NW, SE, SW and Center) -Bed adhesion is awesome if you did a proper bed leveling prior to printing -Do not bother buying a BL Touch thingy for auto leveling, it's useless. Save your money for the extra Z axis motor kit and the belt tensioner. Cons: -X axis belt tensioner is not that great, I ordered this which works great: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08DRHFJ7V -Z axis is a single screw single motor, I immediately upgraded it to add the second motor and screw: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B093Q7974L -Default firmware was Ok but could use polishing. I went to the Github page and updated both the mainboard firmware and the touch screen firmware to the latest. -Main board fan is too loud, it's ridiculous because the stepper motors are super quiet. this printer would be virtually silent if it was not for those pesky fans. Then again, pretty much all brands of printers these days have loud PSU fans. I need to source some quiet 24 VDC fans and this printer will be perfect. -Baby steps menu (used to adjust the Z offset) at the start of a print if you need to correct it quickly is a bit confusing because it says ''PROBE HEIGHT'' while it should say ''NOZZLE HEIGHT''. The same translation error is found in the bed adjustment menus, anywhere it says PROBE, think NOZZLE and it will all make sense! Overall: -With the two upgrade listed above, this machine is rock solid. Print quality is on par with machines that cost close to double. With quiet fans, it will be top notch. Tips: During assembly, pay particular attention when you install the gantry. Don't tighten everything completely, assemble the entire printer then check the gantry for proper alignment and geometry and tighten everything to secure the gantry in place. It is always a good idea to open the bottom cover and check that all the internal wiring is secure, that all connectors and nice and snug and check the ground to chassis connection, it needs to be on tight. In my opinion this printer is a much better deal than the equivalent Ender 3s of this world. For the Enders to achieve this print quality, you will need a lot more $$$$ to get to this level and print quality. And last but not least, for all your stepper motors, remove the pully set screws, apply a bit of medium thread lock and secure in place, particularly for the extruder gear set screw. I had mine undo itself half way through a 9 hour print and it was a bit of a bummer so secure those properly and you are off to the races. This puppy gets 5 stars all across. She's a winner.

Update: I would never buy again from that company, their support is terrible and they sell accessories that are supposed to support their printer but doesn’t. They will spend all their effort avoiding refunding you 25$ for defective product and bank on the fact that shipping back item to China cost more money than the refund is worth. Truly the worst, spend a few buck more and invest in another company if you are looking for hassle free printing. Loved it the first week, and everything seemed to work great. But then it seemed to be harder and harder to level properly. Tried to use an bltouch clone since support seemed built in but it was anything but plug and play. The printer started not going to the center when following their calibration step and the support is innexistant. It take at least a week to get any response and then you see that they did not actually understand the question and have to e-mail back. The extruder’s block also leak plastic inside the printing head and need to be opened and cleaned regularly. I would have returned it but was a few days late.

I purchased the Biqu B1 as I wanted to investigate the potential of 3D printing for my work in machine design. I design custom filling machinery. In the price range the B1 had the largest print area and a good list of upgrades. Within a week of purchase I had designed some small parts on my 3D CAD system, exported them to STL and printed them using PETG (PLA is of little use to me). The parts fitted and transformed a barely functional machine into one that worked brilliantly due to the unique manufacturing abilities of 3D printing (it involved a small internal gallery to direct a compressed air stream). Very happy with Biqu B1 and it has possibly already paid for itself. The magnetic flex build plate is brilliant. TS controls very clear and easy to understand.

I bought 2 of these printers when they were $70 off. One printer shot sparks out of the side and let out the magic smoke! The other printer is awesome. I tried to get a replacement for the defective printer and was told I would have to return it and pay full price for the new one. I'm glad I'm getting my money back but making me pay full price for a replacement? They should be giving me a further discount for the hassle.
