Great slick lather, great price
It Works!. This croap treats a a dense, slick lather quickly. Its early lasted through three passes and minor touch ups.The fragrance is a mild almond note that doesn't linger which my wife appreciates. I like the price and the fact that the 2.25 lbs will last about three years. I use a standard guitar pick to extract about a third of a gram each morning. Great lather and a great price

A great soap & a great bargain - and not just for men!
I'm a woman in my 40s who switched over from canned Barbasol & shave gels over a year ago. My preference is for "croaps" - cross between a hard cream & a soft soap - and in my regular shave rotation are Proraso green, white & red, Cella, and Arko. Cella has a pliable, clay-like consistency you can mold with your hands, so you can use this large refill to fill your empty containers without any grating or melting - just cut off a chunk & press it into your container. I am in a hot climate so I store my large block in a gallon ziplock bag in my fridge. I cut my block in a "tic-tac-toe" pattern to refill the standard 5.4 oz. plastic Cella bowl, for 9 refills. Cella has an almond scent, lathers easily & well, tons of slickness thanks to tallow, and I find it the most moisturizing out of the soaps I've used, probably due to coconut oil as the first ingredient. If you're a woman looking for a good budget-friendly shaving soap, Cella & Proraso white (the sensitive skin version) are the most feminine/least overtly-masculine scents in my opinion - Cella being the more moisturizing of those two. Obviously I'm a fan of this soap since I bought the massive brick, and it will always be in my rotation.

Cella Brick! Greatest Shaving Quality + Value!!
This Cella brick is perhaps the single greatest value in modern day wet shaving!! Kilo brick will last a LIFETIME! Or, split it up into smaller portions for gifting! Performance is outstanding, totally smooth, slick and lubricating. An outstanding and unique shave soap!! Highly recommended!!

The best since 1899
So my shaving life has gone through some rough patches lately (literally). I normally use glycerin based shave soaps, namely Colonel Conk's bay rum. I shave using a silver tip badger bristed brush and a 1974 Gillette black beauty with Feather blades. I finish off with an alum block and Nivea alcohol free post shave balm.Do you remember after the first time you wet shaved? When the epiphany happened. When you realized all you thought you knew about shaving was wrong. That the old ways were really better than the new. Well it happened again last night.I really wanted to give a tallow based soap a try and OOOOOH BOY. Cella is amazing!! Its slicker than the glycerin soaps and the lather it produces is rich beyond belief. I shave my whole face 3 times and the lather just doesn't die. The razor effortlessly glides along your skin and the sweet almond scent just makes you want more. After shaving, my face was left feeling soft with zero razor burn or irritation. This is the only shave soap I will be using from now on.

Great lather great value
This stuff is great for me , lathers fantastic , doesnt flatten out, smells good to me, and its less expensive than anything close to this good. The size is listed as 100ML and 1KG (1000g see my pictures). I think it will refill the “150ml” tub about 7 to 10 times. I couldn't measure the ML easily but I did weigh it, 1KG =1000gm. It came in at 947gm without the box, close enough for me. No need to heat it for refills either its squishy but not liquid so cut off some chunks and squeeze them into your bowl and your ready to go.

Easy to lather, soft but protective to shave with
I took one star on the looks of this large soap. It looks like it was made in home, uneven and not smooth. The size of it means it will last a long time. I just cut it into about 16 pieces and stored in zip lock bags in the fridge. However, it performs on par with my regular soap - Proraso, except with a weak almond/marzipan scent instead of a lemony scent. Overall, it's relatively economical and works well.

Shaving Cream Crema Sapone, You betcha
Giant block of off white semi solid putty like goop wrapped in plastic inside a colorful cardboard box.My being Italian and it being from Italy, I liked this product and the almond aroma it gave off. Sliced off a piece, mushed into the bottom an antique coffee cup, wrapped up the part not used in plastic twice. Wet my small Escali Italian shaving brush and worked up an impressive lather. brushed it on my wet face and man- oh- man, what a nice thick lather that you would never be able to get out of any can of shave cream I had to work with. .. Love this product. So rich, thick and wonderfully moisturizing when applied to your face. I recommend this to anyone who wants a superior shaving cream at a really great price. It also comes in a small size tub if you do not want to purchase the 2.2 pound (one kilo) block. You will not be disappointed by the performance of this product.Regards , D. PaganelliUPDATE 11/2014:Been using this wonderful shave soap with Feather Stainless Steel Platinum coated razor blades that used to last me about 55 to 60 shaves. The last Feather blade I used with this tallow based soap lasted 4 months, that is about 110 to 120 shaves. I finally did change the blade, but did not have to. It still shaved rather well. Of course, I wash the blade and dry it, coat it with mineral oil after using it. The tallow based shave soap seems to retard rusting of the steel edge. Think I am crazy, try it yourself. You will be amazed. I just get a kick out of beating the system.Regards, D. Paganelli
