Con: Hooks themselves are a lot smaller than I realized.Pros: Very strong magnet, hold a decent amount of weight, easy to reposition.I am using them in a metal storage container we use as a barn and milking parlour for my dairy goats. So the wall is metal with one layer of paint over it. I have a handful of these hooks securing my large whiteboard to the wall that I couldn't get secured with heavy duty magnets. I have these holding small packages of hose attachments, garden plant clips, and as extra supports for some magnetic shelves I bought that aren't very secure. After my husband saw how I was using these he asked me to order him a large package too for the garage.

I bought these for my cruise and they indeed came in handy. It provided much needed storage for some items that I could not put away in the small closets & drawers.......It claim to hold up to 30 pounds but I found that not to be true.....I had to use two of them side by side in order to hold anything over 15 pounds. Other than that it was a good find/purchase.

I would 100% buy these again. They are very small but have a strong drip. They can’t hold anywhere near “30lbs” but they were perfect for swim trunks and travel documents. I will say that several of the hooks didn’t have the groves to screw them into the base, I still used them to hold papers on the wall. Overall I was satisfied and would recommend them.

These magnetic hooks were purchased to use in my cruise ship cabin to hang my costume jewelry, outerwear and place paperwork on the metal walls (like shore excursions, etc).They were much smaller than I expected (I noticed the 30 lbs weight they could hold instead of the actual size of the hook). Even though they were small, they still served their purpose for the most part and were very strong.However, I would have liked a larger hook with a stronger weight-holding capacity (75 lbs).

Several commenters on cruise sites mentioned how invaluable these magnets were...they were right!!! Functional We used these to attach ship desk maps and schedules, as well as use the hook for hats, caps, bags or lightweight garments. The magnets are small but have an incredibly strong hold onto the ship walls. Easy to use and remove!

These are suppose to hold 10lbs. They are very small but very strong. Don’t expect them to hold up a backpack. I think a robe or jacket would be the max. Magnet is the size of a dime. I am pleased and would purchase again.

These small hook magnets are handy for VERY light weight items. Would be fine to hang keys on a filing cabinet or refrigerator. Or other small light weight items. Only 3 star because we were expecting the magnets to be stronger. We had several items we tried to use that just slid the kook down the refrigerator. We had read a few reviews that made us think they would be stronger. Just don't expect too much.

I have metal doors and purchased these to replace my coat rack. The attached picture shows my TRX bag with the straps and is less than 2 lb. The magnet is advertised to hold 10 lb vertically and the magnet does not support the weight of this small bag.The hooks easily support a set of keys, a hat, a scarf... however, you have to bundle at least 2 hooks together in order to support an empty handbag, and you have to band multiple magnets together to hold one jacket.The diameter of the magnet is the issue I'm sure. The magnets themselves are pretty strong, but when you have an item that is larger that diameter is only going to support small objects because of gravity...and physics. Weight distribution is essential.For example, a car has four wheels and a motorcycle has two wheels. When you are riding on a motorcycle the only amount of contact with the rubber to the road is about the size of a playing card and has less traction than a vehicle with more than 2 tires.Magnets come disassembled from hooks. I am sure this is for ease of packaging.If you are purchasing these for strength, pass this product up. However, if you want to utilize for vertical hanging object, like small light key rings, hats, scarves, plastic utensils on a string, or other like items, this is a good purchase.I do not have a horizontal magnetic frame, so I cannot test that weight bearing load.
