Pennington Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue Penkoted Grass Seed 40 lbs

Living in this house I haven't been able to grow anything. I took my research to Amazon and found this product. My first batch wasn't all the great. The birds I think or maybe the wind got most of my seeds. However I did the hack of toilet paper mixed with seeds and water packed down in the area I needed during the colder months. It is now late spring and my grass has grown in nice and thick. I went ahead and ordered more. I've had old neighbors make comments about how nice the grass looks that has come in and how easy it was for me to grow. My newest batch of this seed has been placed down during mid spring and it too has started to show growth in just a few short days.

Has worked wonders. Installed two bags so far. No special planting, simply cut grass at normal height for early spring and spread the seeds. One month later spread a second bag. Watered daily. They have grown great in the shade and sun. Completed lots of bare gaps under my large pine trees. Highly recommend.

Out of the thousands of products I have purchased on Amazon over the years, I truly think I've spent more time reading what people say about grass seed, over any other product I have purchased. This grass seed had a mixture of reviews, and ultimatley, I crossed my fingers and hoped I would be one of the ones to share positive results. If you don't do the prep, you will NOT see it perform. That being said, I did the prep and upkeep to the highest level. I would say I still had about 60-70% germination. Overall, I am satisfied with that. I say that because out of all the grass seed(s) I have tried over the years, this has performed the best. I used this product almost 3 weeks ago and am seeing grass grow in areas that for years, I have not had the best luck. This seems to be rooting well and performing how I had hoped. The price is scary, but if you do the prep, I do believe you will be as pleased as I am with the outcome. I review regularly, and will 100% update this post, should I find it not doing as well in the future. If you don't see an update, then my review is true.

Was having trouble growing grass in part shade/part sun, but this grass seed grew where other seed did not. Hope the grass lasts the whole year.

Dude this stuff grew so quick and THICK! Best grass seed I’ve ever bought. The grass came in lush, strong, and green and looks fabulous. Easy to spread as well. I’d use a spreader though because hand tossing causes clumps as it comes in so green.

Grass grew fast I have used all kids of grass seed I was happy with this.1 prepare the ground2 put seed down3 set some top soil mix it in with seed4 put some hay or straw over it to keep it moist5 water water water water every night every morning seed needs to stay wet to germinate

These grass seeds are good I purchased them because someone drove a car on my grass my grass are growing

Had some issues with the first bag I received. Label looked good, tested, and accurate, however the first bag did not germinate at all. Aerated, added some topsoil, starter fertilizer, laid the seed, top dressed with peat, watered lightly three times a day for two weeks. Nothing, the only thing that was showing signs was clover. I've never seen a whole bag fail before and the soil temps were perfect, also my first time buying grass seed on Amazon.Ordered a second bag, applied, covered with peat moss again, watered three times a day lightly, and germination started on day 4. It's coming in nicely now but I have no clue what was wrong with the first bag, so YMMV.In the process, Amazon driver destroyed my front lawn where I did minor renovations and they aren't responding to my claim at all.
