Blue Ginkgo Kitchen Compost Bin, 2.6L Countertop Compost Bin, Green

What a great product. Air tight. Easy to clean. Easy to dump the contents. Just the right size. This is a low-tech product that really solved a problem for us. We empty the compost bin every few days. But because it's air tight, there's no smell, no fruit flies - no problems at all. We don't have to hassle with filters. It's just perfect for collecting, carrying and dumping your compost. I can't think of a thing they could improve upon.

Exactly what I needed! I have the metal canister with the carbon filter but can’t have it in my kitchen as it’s always smelly. This one closes tightly and never smells! I wish I wasn’t adding to my plastic usage but it’s worth it for me to have a compost container on my counter. Easy to clean and empty, I keep compostable bags in it to line and assist with cleanup. It’s on the small side in terms of size but works perfectly for just me. The lid fits tightly and I can only smell the contents when I open it up. Excellent quality item. Would definitely recommend.

This compost bin is attractive, sturdy, & keeps odors in. The two handles help us take it out to our compost pile without anything spilling. Because it's odor-tight, it also keeps any bugs from getting in. I've been really happy with this bin (plus the shape makes it sit nicely against the corner of our counter!)

Looks nice, good quality, works well for my family of 3 to collect kitchen scraps for the keyhole garden bed. The inner dish with holes gets stuck with gunk though and is a bit difficult to clean, especially if you put something that disintegrates quick in first like green leaves. May work better if something like potato peels or papers go as a first layer. I am actually considering removing that inner dish though and see if that may work better. It is good size. Doesn’t emit any odors with closed lid. I am overall pleased with the purchase.

I love this countertop compost bin. It’s the perfect size and is odor free. So convenient to dump all the kitchen scraps.

Our city has mandated that food scraps be disposed of in our green trash. I’m trying to comply with this rule, so I went on Amazon and found this item. The learning curve in getting used to this new step is the hardest. But with my little “bucket’, I don’t have an ugly bag. It is clean, nice looking, and is just the right size for my counter. Great item!

I know this sounds nuts, but I fell in love with this compost bin! I place a paper towel inside the liner, fill it up, then dump it into a compostable bag when I am ready to empty it. That way, the bag remains intact, with no tears. Its small size fits under my kitchen shelf perfectly. I did fold a tiny piece of paper towel over the grasp in the lid, because my hands are often wet when I want to pull off the very close fitting lid, and this allows me to do so. Get it. You will be glad you did.

Parfait pour cuisiner, super pratique très bonne contenance, aucune odeurs. Le seul point d'amélioration que je vois concerne la poignée pour attraper le conteneur-passoire interne. Il est très tentant d'attraper tout l'objet par cette poignée et s'il votre conteneur est rempli il va vous arriver des bricoles.

C'est une mini poubelle super , pratique et très facile d'entretien

fini de chipoter avec des sacs en plastique, ce bac à compost de cuisine sert de transition sans aucune odeur dans la cuisine avant d'être vider dans mon composteur électrique parfait, facile à nettoyer, et très solide, élégant.
