Papo The Dinosaur Figure, Triceratops, multicolor

One of the most beloved dinosaurs ever, and Papo has delivered a great representation of Triceratops. I bought all of the carnivorous dinos right away, and once I got around to finally buying Triceratops - I was surprised to find that it fit so perfectly into my diorama. This dino adds a lot of dimension to your collection. In this case it was the first veggie dino I had gotten, so to have Triceratops counter-balance the terrain just added a whole new aesthetic to the collection. I am just as excited by the veggieosaurus toys, now - and am loving this wonderful Triceratops. I love the detailed neck, and the angle which it's standing is pleasing as well, as you can get a lot of expressive poses out if it. Triceratops offset my entire Papo collection, and was a breath of fresh air! It's really a great toy - it totally brings appreciation to the subject; a refreshingly likable dino!!

I’ve been a long time fan of the papo line of toys in my younger years. They still got it! With highly detailed sculptures and beautifully hand painted skins. These realistic looking Dinos are a pleasure to look at. I’ll catch myself just staring at them. My son also loves playing with them. I might add though that the triceratops can be a little pokey for younger children.

These are fantastic! My son is IN LOVE with these. We now have a full set and recommend these to dinosaur enthusiasts young and old.. We love that these remain true to realistic traits - which drew us to them to begin with. My 2 year old is learning so much about these dinosaurs and it has inspired us to encourage his fascination with books and movies to build on his knowledge.

These Papo dinosaurs are by far the best dinosaur toy/sculpts I've ever bought. I'm an artist by trade and the quality of each toy blows me away. Very detailed sculpts, wrinkles, scales and skin stretching are all visible. The paint job is always extremely well done. It seems to be a combination of ink wash, dry brush and airbrushing where needed. The small scale detail really pops when given this paint treatment. The toys are made of a very durable plastic, but you might not want to be rough with them because there are some very thin areas on a few dinos. Arms and fingers of the theropods could break off. Hasn't happened to any of mine yet and my kids play with them, but not harshly.I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

High quality toy, well worth the money. The joy is in the details. The triceratops is a bit heavy. I trust my son with this toy but I’d worry a bit about using it in my play therapy office because if a kid tosses this thing it could probably do some damage.

Papo's Jurassic Park-inspired highly-detailed toy models in dynamic poses.Much like Papo's other figures, these are highly detailed and painted fairly elaboratly. They have a lot of details both on the mold and paint job.The only downside is that they are all not to scale with each other. Unlike figures from PNSO or Haolonggood, these are not scientifically accurate, but for an artistic rendition of a mashup between that and Jurassic Park, they're pretty awesome. Much like their Parasaurolopgus and Stegosaurus, this Triceratops doesn't not have a moveable jaw. Still, it's done nicely with a satin finish on the body, and a flatter finish on the frill. The body seems to have a more rubber feel than the rest of the body, which is my only complaint.

Triceratops is one of my favorite dinosaurs and that is a nice design for a toy figure

I purchased this for my 3-year-old grandson who is enamored with dinosaurs after reading the existing reviews that included quality and longevity in their descriptions. It is met all my expectations and then some! It is a hefty, substantial toy for the money that looks like it will last through hard play for a long time. He loves it!
