Works like it should, probably better than a 270w power pack has a right to, but the fan is only quiet until the first time you start to pull some power out of it. Once you start to draw power the fan maxes out and stays that way until you shut the machine off. This form factor is known for loud fans, if you're looking for a quiet one it's not this one.

Worked perfect for a couple months
Worked perfect for a couple months, then it fried... dissapointed.... Purchached power supply from a different Manufacturer, and the new one I bought is much quieter and works, also got new one cheaper.....

Not a perfect fit, but works well.
My son gave me a dead HP-Pavilion s3300z. I took the chance that the mobo was still OK, and bought this. With some improvising of internal cable routing and using the included ATX to mini-ATX adaptor, I was able to get the old PC working. Some chassis screw holes lined up ok; some not, but enough to be safe. As a generic replacement, it was adequate, but not great.

Great replacement. No issues.
I bought this to replace a PSU in a friend's old HP pavilion slim form factor PC (forgot the exact name). This has more power than the original, and is half the length. So better performance and more room to fit all these cables. So far the PC has been working great for them. Owned for about a month or so with no issues. They haven't 'gamed' on it or anything, just web browsing and maybe some Facebook games. It's powering just 1 HDD, 1 optical drive, and a low-end GeForce 210 video card.
