Dyson Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer, No Heat Damage, Styling Concentrator, Precision Styling Blow Dryer (Black/Nickel)

After 15 years I finally had to replace my original Dyson hair dryer. 15 YEARS it lasted! It actually still works, but it started shutting down repeatedly after 10 minutes. Dyson products are top quality and well worth the cost. All other brands throughout my life never lasted more than 1 year before burning out. This has paid for itself over and over again. It dries my hair quickly , and my hair is shiny and smooth. Thank you, Dyson, for your excellence in workmanship in all you do.

The Dyson Supersonic Origin it’s definitely one of the most functional hair tools I’ve owned. Everything about it is designed to make your routine easier — from the magnetic attachment system to how fast and efficiently it dries. It’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle, which makes a big difference if you’re styling or drying for more than a few minutes. Despite its small size, the airflow is strong and very controlled, and it gets the job done quickly — I’ve cut down my usual drying time by a noticeable amount. What stood out most was the noise level — it’s not silent, but the sound is much softer and lower-pitched than most dryers I’ve used. It doesn’t have that loud, high-pitched whine. The build quality is excellent too; it feels sturdy and high-end, and the cord and buttons all seem durable and responsive. In terms of functionality, this dryer hits all the marks: quick drying, precise airflow, comfortable grip, and reliable heat control. It’s clearly built with everyday use in mind, and everything works the way you expect — no extra fluff, just performance. I bought this hair dryer in mid-October. It worked only three times, the fourth time it just stopped working, I called Dyson and first time they said they would send me a return label within 8-10 minutes. 24 hours later I called again and I did get a return label and had to take it to UPS, They received it back on November 7th. On November 10th I received an email saying "Your new machine is on its way", with an order number and tracking link to UPS, But UPS says it has no information, I waited a week or so and called Dyson back (but I have to say each time I called I waited at least 20-30 minutes to talk to someone whose English is very hard to understand). He told me it takes 7-14 business days to process. After a few more phone calls I was told I would have a new machine on November 27th. Of course, it never came. I called again on November 30th and the man I talk to said he would send an email to wherever these machines come from and call me back. Needless to say it is now December 3rd and I have not heard from him, I do not know what to do from here. But I am very disappointed in Dyson and their customer service. You should expect better from a company who sells a $400. hair dryer. I bought this through Amazon but do not feel it is their problem that is why I have wasted hours waiting for some satisfaction from Dyson,

I purchased this for my girl and she loves it. It's pricey, but well worth it. Great build quality and using this dryer DOES make a difference in your hair shine and texture. It dries thick hair a lot quicker than a standard hairdryer.

I’m afraid everyone was right about dyson and it is the perfect hair dryer. Sooo lightweight, my arm doesn’t get tired from holding it up like my last heavy hairdryer, and it works so fast at drying my hair. Love the different heat settings, I never feel like my hair is getting fried. Expensive but honestly on a payment plan it was totally worth it lol

I love the hair dryer. The best hair dryer ever. This is the second one I have had. The other one lasted 2-1/2 yrs. My only complaint is the metal thing broke on one of them. I returned it. Got a full refund. Purchased another one!!!!! My hair is in the middle of back. Takes less then 5 minutes to dry. I have tried others that say they are as good as a Dyson!! Not even near as good as a Dyson.

Light weight. Easy to use even for women with small hands or individuals with arthritic hands. Very expensive, but if it last 10 or more years, I is designed well and is easy to use, it is not likely to break or collect lint or overheat. My hair quickly dries, and it does not frizz. My hair is thin and fine and drives within five minutes. 15 minutes with typical hairdryers. Life is too short to struggle to dry your hair and what little hair I have I certainly want to be well cared for. I am 73 and hope it will last m6 lifetime.

I read reviews to determine which brand for this type of hair dryer was the best. I am really disappointed. My hair is not particularly curly or wavy, pretty much straight. I spend significant time sectioning my hair to dry it properly but this dryer doesn't work any better than the $39.00 dryer I have been using. Hair comes out bushy and frizzy. It does not leave hair smooth, with nice finish. I still have to flat iron my hair to give it that polished look. Hair dryer is heavier when using than presented by the information. I received the dryer a couple of weeks before going out of town for 3 weeks. I missed the window for returning the product. Now I'm out a considerable amount of money that I normally wouldn't have spent of a hair dryer. I feel like I was miss led!
