Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Shave Gel, 7 Oz

Excellent product.

I’ve been using this gel for years and it is my “go to” for shaving both my head and face. For my head, I use an OmniShaver, and for my face, a Philips Norelco 9000 Wet/Dry shaver. A small amount mixed with water and applied to the skin creates a thin but very slick, lubricating surface that promotes shaver glide. The ingredients in the gel - soy, aloe, conditioners, and Vitamin E – soften the hair, promote swelling of the hair that facilitates capture by the shaver, and eliminates ingrown hairs, razor bumps and razor burn. The gel smells wonderful – almost like an oatmeal cookie – and the ingredients are actually good for the skin and leave the skin feeling moisturized with a smooth, glowing, healthy appearance. My wife also uses it to shave her legs, which is the original intended purpose of this excellent product. I can’t recommend this gel highly enough.

My husband loves this stuff. It really works well for him, and I am able to purchase a large amount that will last all year for him. He tells me that it goes on really well, just enough lather, leaves his face smooth and conditions it as well.

I have a heavy thick beard, and i have to shave daily. This shave cream coats and softens my beard while providing a great shaving lubricant. With other shave creams I would get razor burns and nicks. With thus Aveno, zero razor burn, zero nicks, just a really smooth and comfortable shave. I highly recommend this Aveno shave cream.
