The 1975 return with their new album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language. The band's 5th studio album was written by Matthew Healy and George Daniel and recorded at Real World Studios in the UK and Electric Lady Studios in NYC. Formed in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 have established themselves as one of the defining bands of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, ardent fanbase and unique sonic approach. El álbum es maravilloso, eso ya lo sabía, pero lo he tenido que comprar en físico porque me han quitado Human Too de Spotify. Viene nuevo y sellado.

They have done it again! Over 2 years since their last album and "Being Funny in a Foreign Language" is in my opinion, their best offering yet! The single "I`m in love with you" has classic written all over it and will be a fan favourite. "Happiness" has a great saxophone accompaniment and has a very sophisticated sound. "Looking for somebody" is a departure for the band but it has an infectious chorus and is very radio friendly. "Oh Caroline" has a great vibe and will do well in the USA as it has a West Coast feel to it. "All I need to hear" is a smooth bluesy track which is just outstanding. "Human too" is another brilliant track with an accompanying piano and Matt`s vocals sounding better than ever. "About you" is a beautiful, dreamy track and nice to hear female vocals on this one. The album closes with "When we are together" with some great string instrumentation. The album (CD) is well packaged and mine was a cardboard sleeve with a lyric sheet (which opens up) and a plastic sleeve to slip them into. This is like the ones you used to find in some CD singles. If you are old enough to remember them! So, album number 5 is another classic from the 1975. More laid back and confident then previous albums, and that is from someone that thought "Somebody Else" was a masterpiece! I don`t know of another band at the moment, with this sort of talent. I have a feeling we will hear more classic albums from this very talented bunch of guys! Well done!
