Highschool of the Dead, Vol. 5

Love this series! Arrived in perfect condition!

There's a fair bit of character development in this set of chapters. Individual motivations and fears come to the surface, personality conflicts grow a bit, and jealousy starts to show it's teeth. Intriguing questions about when good intentions aren't worth pursuing given the new state of the world come up and are handled in a (somewhat) realistic manner without letting the characters off easy. With the world gone to hell the survivors are capable of both great hope and great despair, leading to acts of both heroism and evil. This is a great thing for the story to dig into and this volume benefits from these themes.

Great gift for anime lovers.

I love this manga. I started with the anime but I wanted to know what was appening next so I ordered the manga version.

what can I say about this book, well to start it has been on of the greatest manga's that I have read it always keeps me coming for more, its a bummer that we might not see the ending of the story though but we can always hope for it :) if you are looking for something worthy of reading try this series, its a great alternative to the walking dead series which I also have :) and is also a great story

If you've read volumes 1-4 or seen all 12 episodes of the anime, this is where they see the shopping mall and their initial interactions with the people there. But enough spoilers, The first color pages are out of order and backwards but it isn't important enough to effect the rest of the books content. Overall, Its an awesome read and wont disappoint any fans of the series!

Volume 5 is a good volume the gang make it to a mall and meet new people and other survivors and the plot to the story gets bigger.
