The laptop's built-in display felt too small, and now I have a much larger and more comfortable screen to work on. The cable is very well made, with a durable braided exterior that gives it a premium feel and inspires confidence in its long-term reliability. It runs my monitor at the full 200 Hz without any issues, making it perfect for photo and video editing as well as everyday use. Highly recommended.

This cable works great when there isn't an issue with the computer. I bought it to use with a M4 Mac mini that I was giving my daughter for Christmas. I setup the computer using one of my monitors a BenQ SW271 and had all sorts of issues with the cable & M4 Mac mini. In looking up this problem, it's not a problem with the cable but an issue with the Mac mini and Apple knows about it. I was able to get it to work just fine with my monitor but I had to change the DisplayPort version setting in the monitor from 1.4 to to 1.1 and it worked fine then. Fortunately when I plugged my daughter's monitor into the Mac mini with this cable it worked flawlessly first time no issues what so ever. The cable is well built and should last forever.

Finally! Something that connects my MacBook Pro M1 Max to my 49" Odyssey G9 OLED. With no flicker, no complaining, just works! This cable, straight out of the box, immediately detected 5120x1440, 120Hz, and HDR! Now, it didn't detect 240 Hz like my Windows laptop with a straight HDMI, but I'll take it! The cable has sturdy feeling ends and a braided cord and feels ready to travel. It nestles neatly into my wire management with no worries about the bends in my monitor arm. The DP end doesn't have a clip, so be aware of that. But everything fits snug, so no worries for my needs. It's been a long, VERY expensive journey with a high-end 8k HDMI cable, "Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock for Mac", "Anker USB-C to HDMI Adapter - 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz, for MacBook", and Apple's own "USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter". These all, at best, reported 2560x1440, rarely HDR, and either 59 Hz or 60 Hz, and many flickered or dropped out during the day.

Por ahora le doy 4 estrellas, porque en teoría si debe funcionar Lo digo, porque para el uso que le iba a dar, no me funcionó, porque no leí las restricciones donde este producto no funciona. La entrada de usb tipo C de mi laptop solo tiene el símbolo SS y nada mas, por lo que, esta entrada no funciona para transmitir video directamente o en este cado para extender pantalla. Lo dejo para el futuro para comprobar su funcionalidad.

La distinction utile avant de l’acheter : le port USB-C de l’appareil doit prendre en charge la sortie vidéo, par exemple via DisplayPort Alt Mode ou Thunderbolt ; un port limité à la charge et aux données ne suffit pas. Les résolutions et fréquences annoncées dépendent aussi des capacités de l’appareil et de l’écran. J’apprécie ce format de connexion et je suis satisfait de mon choix.

Works as it should. Previously bought one named "uni" or something, that didnt hold up to what it claimed. This cable actually does. 4k in 120hz no problems.
