Great quality
These organic rolled oats are perfect for breakfast or baking. They cook up nicely, have a great texture, and taste fresh every time. I love that they’re USDA Organic and Non-GMO.

Old Fashioned Goodness!
Love these oats! Being able to make them in the MW is a huge PLUS. I make them with Truvia, ground cinnamon, and when cooked, add about 1/3 to 1/2 cup raisins and stir them in well. Quaker instant oatmeal packets are delicious, but they contain sugar content. These are easy to make and do very well in the MW. These Quaker Oats are organic and contain no added sugar. You can add the sugar or other sweeteners, such as honey or one of the artificial sweeteners you prefer. After cooking, they are very hot, which is not a problem IMO. I let them cool about 5 minutes during which time they tend to thicken up nicely.

Quaker Old Fashioned Rolled Oats, USDA Organic
I prefer the old style rolled oats. No spice, no sugar, no doodads in them. I cook them so the oat flakes retain their shape, and don't melt into goo. Our mkt only carries the broken down type of oats, loaded with flavors and even sugar. So when I saw these oats were organically grown, that impressed me, because glyphosate is often in traditional growing methods. I really enjoy my plain, softly boiled oat flakes with a dash of salt and a little milk. Warming familiar flavor for wintering mornings, for folk who don't need colors, gimmicks, and spices and sugar.

Disappointed in quality control
I have been ordering the old fashion organic oatmeal from Amazon for over a year. I like the taste and texture of the old fashion kind and eat it most every day with blueberries, bananas, and walnuts. I have been microwaving it for about 3 min, 30 sec. I received an order a while back that turned to a gelatinous mess when I microwaved it for the usual time. In fact it did the same thing at 90 sec. I have to believe that the product was mislabeled and, in fact, was instant oatmeal passed off as the old fashion kind. The product date code was "SEP 03 20 V 23:02 2." I am surprised that a company with over 140 years experience would make such a mistake. Subsequent orders have been fine. When they make a mistake it is a 6 pound mistake that I have to eat.

Great value, great product
This was one of the first things I ordered online at the beginning of COVID-19 lockdown last spring. Since then I've re-ordered twice. Good flavor, nice package (resealable), and arrives at my door. Even though in a city with many stores, some products are thin, including organic things (and of course paper goods) still. About all I can say about oatmeal offhand! A good product this, and good value/size for organic.

Bought by accident will keep buying on purpose!!
Bought by mistake. Will keep buying on purpose. Taste great. I put it in bowl with other things like cinnamon add water put in microwave. Push a button. Three or four minutes later breakfast. I put it in shakes. Salads. Make flour in blender. Think I have two bags left. If my cholesterol goes down it will be in a large part due to that button I pushed by accident. Later: yes cholesterol going down. I have made lots of changes including Nutrim, Forks Over Knives, increased water to full 8 cups a day plus what ever else I drink and walking more. I will say that I have to keep it to one serving and include a protein like pea powder or my blood sugar goes up more than I like. It is great ground up as oat flour in recipes too.
