So the strength and density is as firm and solid as cardboard. It is not industrial strength material. It is firm enough for domestic car use. Great for things like oils, waters, dust rags, shopping bags etc. But let me tell you if your vehicle is a hatchback this thing stinks for weeks. Like a chemical plant. Its the cardboard that stinks. Bad **Q: Does this have velcro on the bottom to keep it from sliding around?** A: The version that I just got in 2023 has a small Velcro and small rubber pad under each of the three sections. I have not traded in a vehicle yet, but it seems it should be sufficient. **Q: Does it hold grip on all weather mat?** A: No. Not without some prepping on your part. There is only velcro strips on the bottom intended to adhere to the backing of vehicle seats. I too have a Weathertech mat in my backbend and I just bought the sticky back velcro strips to stick on the mat itself to secure the caddy to then! **Q: Where is the product made in? It looks nice and has great storage space. Optional separate compartments is very helpful. However, gave it 4 stars as it came with very strong velcro on the base, which is great for anyone who never wants to move it once it's in the boot. I unpacked it and set it up in the boot, only to find that it lifted my carpet up if I tried to move it and that was when it was empty! I use my boot for many things and often move the boot tidy, sometimes on the back seat if needed. This boot tidy made it unfortunately impossible for me to use it the way I needed to. Hence, it has been left empty until I could get something to cover the velcro on the bottom. I bought velcro fastening roles and used one part of it to stick on the existing velcro. Now the 'non sticking' part is face down underneath so I can now move my boot tidy wherever I wish. If I had known it was built to put it in place and never move it again, I would never have bought it. Thankfully, I can do what I want with it now. This would have been perfect if it had arrived with the velcro attached and left it up to the customer as to if they took the top part 'cover' off or not. It would have made all the difference and is such a simple solution. Some people do actually want or need to move things in and out of the boot. Now it's sorted, it's great. It could have been great before though. I know this is a bit long.
