Would almost break the key before
After installing this switch the truck has started easily every time without having to bear down on the key so hard you sometimes hear it crack.

Fixed a lot of issues that were electrical.

Worked great on my 07 GMC Yukon! It looks exactly like the original! I figured this was the culprit for my “service theft system” message popping up all the time and when I replaced it, the message went away. Good thing I replaced it before the original completely failed and possibly leave me stranded somewhere

Buy Dorman switch
I purchased a Standard products switch. The switch was aligned correctly. The truck coded and in running the codes it came back as a ground problem. Upon changing the switch, the problem has gone away. Good purchase
