Upgrade LED Flashlight Bulb,DC18V 12V 19.2V 6-24 Volt PR2 P13.5S LED Bulb Compatible for Ryobi Milwaukee Craftsman Torch Work Light

The Craftsman 19.2-volt flashlight I’ve had in my toolbox for many years came into my possession as a promo addition to a portable power tool kit. It was seldom used having never produced a bright enough light to serve any purpose. Recently wondering if I could convert it to LED illumination, and not having very much hope due to the odd 19.2 voltage, I searched Amazon using the term Craftsman and lightbulb to see what might be available. One of the listings was the LudoPam 18-volt light bulb. Reading through all the listings, this particular bulb seemed to be the one most likely to work with my flashlight. Worked, it did! The shone area changed from being dimly illuminated to a brightly lit. With this simple LED lightbulb improvement, I could now see the area on the underside of my car that needed work. What was formally a near useless gadget occupying toolbox space is now a highly useful flashlight due to a simple lightbulb upgrade.

After a dozen years or so, the 18V incandescent lamp in my Ryobi P700 flashlight burned out. For the added few bucks over a replacement incandescent bulb, I figured I'd give the LED bulb a try. It's a piece of cake to replace. Turned on the flashlight and it lit up perfectly. I had read with interest the review by "Paul" that shows how he tightened up the pattern by adding a 0.065" washer. The pattern I'm getting as-is is very good up close to about 3ft and then there is a slight dark center beyond that. I tried Paul's trick with some washers I had. I didn't have a 0.065 but I did have a couple on either side of this thickness. It did improve the pattern at distance but degraded it for close-up work. In the end I decided that since I usually use it to illuminate parts I'm working on at a couple of feet away, I'll leave it without the washer. Out of curiosity, I put an ammeter in series with the LED bulb to measure the current draw. With a fully charged P103 lithium battery pack on the flashlight I'm seeing 150mA. The original incandescent bulb is stamped 0.6A (600mA). So the LED uses one-quarter of the power of the old incandescent. Thus I would expect the flashlight to operate about 4 times as long before requiring a recharge - cool! BTW, the LudoPam description on the Amazon page tells you to be sure your device is tip-positive (LEDs are polarity sensitive). If you are using it for a Ryobi P700 flashlight like I am, rest assured it is tip-positive and the LED will work.

These bulbs are very bright and help increase the battery life of your flashlight but there is a drawback. Normal bulbs produce light in a radius of 360 degrees all the way around and forward. This allows light produced by regular bulbs to reflect off the mirrored interior that surrounds the bulb in your flashlights. This, in turn, increases the radius of useful light that your flashlight projects. The light produced by these LED bulbs points pretty much only straight forward so not as much of that light is reflected from the mirrored interior that surrounds the bulb. The result of all this is that while the light from the LED bulb is brighter and more efficient, it won't throw as big a circle of light on your wall as would a regular bulb. For me, this one draw back isn't enough to condemn LED flashlight bulbs but others may disagree. As for this brand of bulb in particular, I find it to be a quality product at a decent price.

Great LED replacement bulb. Very bright, makes the battery last longer, and withstands dropping unlike a normal bulb. I was hesitant to get it when someone said that the light will become a spot-light, but since I use it outside most of the time, it is just what I needed. There may be issues if you try to use it under a sink to see as you work since the light is so focused. To solve that maybe a piece of wax paper over the light to defuse the light?

Have a Ryobi flashlight that came with a set, but the bulb broke very quickly. Decided to go with LED replacement and got this one. Easy swap and it worked great. Like the brightness. I have only used it for a few minutes, so I can't comment on the durability/lifespan yet.

I thought my old Ryobi P700 could use an upgrade for brightness and so bought this as a replacement bulb. At first, I thought it wasn't much of an upgrade but when I started comparing it to other flashlights in the house, it works great. The dot of brightness is very bright and there's a nice flood effect that also helps see everything around. Here's to giving my old flashlight another 10-20 years of service.

I have several heavy duty shop flashlights as part of cordless tool sets and I still like using them. These LED bulbs bring new life to these otherwise excellent units and extend the working time with a charged battery to many, many hours. Easy to install and working great.

Works OK and only a few dollars more than a pack of regular bulbs. The light output is a little yellowish in the center with a bluish tint on the edge, so not uniform yellow like the original bulb. But it is WAY brighter and the battery lasts at least 3X as long. The beam pattern is a little worse than the original bulbs due to the shape of the reflector, but the original beam pattern wasn't great anyway. Would I buy again? Perhaps , but I would consider just getting a different flashlight rather than keep the Craftsman.

I have a RIGID flashlight that needed a bulb and switched to this LED. Perfect fit and twice as bright as the original. Came in two days. Little pricey but hopefully it lasts 10 times longer the the original did.

Very bright white light. Direct replacement for conventional bulb that used to cast a yellow light. Battery run time has also significantly increased with this bulb.
