Perfect fit/replacement
We have a 2003 Burb that is our workhorse. It's in pretty fair condition for it's age and we're not ready to part with it. This was a fairly straight forward replacement and the new regulator fit perfectly and works fine. Would highly recommend it if you have a compatible vehicle. Delivery was quick too. One thing - there are no included instructions. So suggest going to You Tube U. for a quick class on the how tos. That's all anyone should need.

Pictured is the OEM regulator from 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV (right, rear window). My window wouldn’t go up or down. Turns out, the regulator was broken, the metal wire ate up the plastic winding housing. Ordered this part, fairly inexpensive compared to getting OE GM part. The removal and install was around 30 minutes. Tip: duct tape the window glass so that it stays in the up/closed position, it makes one-person installation a breeze. It took more time taking door card off/on. So far, so good in operation, speed matches OEM regulator. It sounds a bit different than my other three windows now, but you have to be keen on picking up the difference in noise. Installed it about a month ago, still working properly. Time will tell on quality and how it holds up.

Easier than it looks
Having never replaced a window regulator before, I scanned some YouTube videos till I found one that demonstrated the work. Pretty easy, just need to be patient and follow instructions. The regulator works well. That's about it. I also found Amazon's quick delivery to be a plus. When your window is not working, you can't wait too long to get it taken care of.
