SilverStone SST-ML06B - Milo Slim HTPC Silent Mini-ITX Computer Case, black

The media could not be loaded. There are a couple of strong points and weakness to this case.The strong:Sturdy (it's very well built)Good airflow (on the side and CPU)The weaknessesThe Capacity mostly - i'll explain below, probably mentioned by others as wellSo, when I chose this case, I was planning to fit a H81 MB with a TFX PSU and a 1030 2 GB (fanless, LP etc)I then realized the PSU won't fit, so I had to order another one (BeQuiet 300 W SFX Power Supply Unit). Bear in mind a modular PSU like the above might be even better, but it fitted so I was happy. Then the 2nd problem was the PSU itself was (and still is) covering the PCI slot on the H81 (I went around that by using the PCI Exp 1x slot and an adapter (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B073MK1QWP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). So the GPU is definitely out of the question. There is some silver lining to this story: you can replace the board to be precise 17x17 ( anything above will not fit as per mine) or go with an APU (a 3400G, and Athlon etc) . And about GPU, forget about using anything more than a one slot (even low profile)In the end, I've used this case with 2 configs:1) Intel socket 1150Biostar H81mv3i5 4750sGTX 1650 (via adapter)BeQuiet 300 W SFX2x SSDNoctua Noctua NH-L9i + 1x 90mm Arctic F9, even a 80 mm fan on the sideCrucial DDR3 16GB2) AMD AM4ASRock Fatal1ty itxR5 3600/Athlon 200GEGTX 1650 (via adapter)BeQuiet 300 W SFX2x SSDWraith cooler and nothing elseCorsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4Conclusion time:This is a perfect case for a media center and or file server. Office PC if you choose an APU. Gaming is a stretch and requires some tinkering, but a R5 3600 is possible, so why not. Your safest bet is an SFX PSU and the smallest 17x17 motherboard you can find. Currently mine is set up as a folding PC to help find the cure for covid (see pic for full thermals under heave leady)Sturdy, light and with the right parts, a proper PC/server case

I bought this case for use as an HTPC and overall I'm very pleased with it. It's well built and the plastic panel on the front looks great (I think that's the only difference between this one and the ML06, so save the cash I think!)The overall footprint is about the same as games console - about the size of a 360, a little bigger than a PS4, but in that sort of ballpark.The internal brace under the lid adds a lot of rigidity which I quite like, and you can remove it during installation for easy access.Pros:* Decent footprint for an ITX system. Certainly not the smallest, but it's compact and visually attractive.* Solid construction and generous accessories - it comes with two different sets of rubber feet and a full set of various screws and cable ties and a magnetic dust filter for the 120 mm vent over the CPU.* Has flexibility for setup - it has a drive cage for a number of 2.5" drives (but see potential cons below), and a top bracket that can mount a 120 mm fan or a slim slot-loading optical drive.* Has a half-height PCIe slot aligned with the standard ITX x16 slot, but also has a full-height slot across the top of the motherboard if you need it. This would be directly above the CPU so would be a tight fit, and is single-width only. DOES NOT INCLUDE A RISER CABLE.* SFX power supply can be mounted either way up - there's a vent in the top for the PSU fan, but there's at least half an inch (10-13 mm) clearance if you mount the PSU fan-downwards for it to draw in air if you want to do it this way.Cons:* The 2.5" drive cage is a very tight fit if you use an SFX-L power supply, and it's still tight if you use a normal smaller SFX that's only 100mm deep. If you are committed to using 2.5" drives in this thing I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND a fully modular PSU. Otherwise it's easy to remove the cage and use the space for cable management.* The mounting holes for the two 80 mm fans on the side have almost no clearance. Noctua fans will fit here, but you'll have to remove the rubber shock mounts from the frame on the screw sides.* The PSU area also has vent holes in the top of the case, but no dust filter is included for this vent.Neutral love/hate:* The power LED is blue. It's not super bright, but you may not like this if you don't like lights on your devices in an HTPC setup. You don't have to connect it to the motherboard if you don't want to use it.* The HDD access light is also blue. Again, you can just leave it disconnected. (the front panel IO cables for power, reset, power light etc are all separate).

I've had three ITX-cases before this one: Two from Fractal Design (Node 202 and Node 304) and one from Phanteks (Evolv Shift Air). The ML09 is much much smaller, a proper "small form factor", but still fits everything I need, even a (low profile) beefy graphics card. To my knowledge the ML09 is the smallest case every built that house a SFX PSU, can fit the Noctua NH-U12S and(!) a dual slot GPU card.I bought this case mainly for my future build, but as of now it holds my +10 year old components perfectly.You can easily find more elaborate reviews from a Google search. Caja muy compacta perfecta para un HTPC u ordenador para escritorios con poco espacio.Yo la tengo montada con un Ryzen 7 2700 y una GTX 1050 ti de perfil bajo.La única pega es que el calor se acumula bastante dentro de la caja, aunque en mi caso, es porque el disipador de stock del Ryzen no me deja instalar un ventilador de 12cm (más delgado que uno "estandar") que trae incluido.Poco más grande que una Xbox One S. Solo admite gráficas de perfil bajo, que es lo que la hace tan compacta. Cabe perfectamente en una mochila.Ventajas: Compacta, pequeña y muy manejable. Incluye un ventilador de 120mm delegado y unas patas para soporte vertical.Desventajas: Al ser tan pequeña, la disipación del calor se ve afectada, aunque se le pueden colocar, aparte del ventilador de 120mm que queda justo encima del procesador, dos de ¿60mm? que quedan donde la gráfica (no incluidos). No es precisamente barata, aunque el diseño portable también hay que pagarlo aparte.¿Recomendaría su compra? Sí

het frontpaneel leek me goed op de afbeelding met half om half blinkend, maar het geleverde was volledig egaal blinkend en had dus niet die speciale look -- ik heb het niet teruggezonden omdat het zo'n gedoe is en ik graag de PC wou in mekaar zetten -- anders had ik het retour gezonden -- ze mogen me nog altijd de afgebeelde behuizing zenden, misschien bouw ik alles dan nog om

La mejor caja para una placa mini itx 17 x 17 ya que entra muy bien y tiene mucha ventilacion , en mi casocon AMD cabe justo de altura el disipador alto SPIRE LED para que el procesador este fresco . Es un buen acierto los 2 puertos usb 3.0

Auf Basis des Gehäuses habe ich einen perfekten Wohnzimmer-PC für Multimedia-Anwendungen konfigurieren können. Ziel war ein (fast) lautloses System mit modernen Komponenten und optisch ansprechendem Gehäuse welches nicht zum Spielen genutzt werden soll.Das SilverStone SST-ML06B kommt gut verpackt und mit vollständigem Montagematerial. Das Gehäuse ist robust und gut verarbeitet. Die Dimensionen und der interne Aufbau des Gehäuses stellen für mich einen optimalen Kompromiss zwischen Kompaktheit und Einbauplatz dar. Der Einbau einer zusätzlichen Low-Profile Grafikkarte ist möglich, bei der Leistungsfähigkeit der heutigen CPU-GPUs für mich nicht sinnvoll.Die u.g. Komponenten konnten alle problemlos verbaut werden.Besonderheiten:Den SSD-Käfig habe ich nicht verbaut, um mehr Platz für die Kabelführung und Netzteilstecker zu gewinnen.Eine zusätzlich vorhandene SSD wurde an die Gehäusewand gegenüber vom Netzteil geklebt.Bei mehreren SSDs (im Käfig) könnte es hier (zu) eng werden.Die SilverStone FF123B - 140 mm Lüfterabdeckung mit ultra-feinem Staubfilter magnetisch unter den Einlass oberhalb des Motherboards befestigt. Das beiliegende Filter oberhalb des Netzteils (hier musste etwas angepasst werden.Die NVME SSD wird auf der Unterseite des Mainboards eingesteckt.Das Netzteil hat einen lüfterlosen Betrieb im unteren Lastbereich und bleibt damit bei mir praktisch immer aus. Eine zusätzlich vorhandene SSD wurde an die Gehäusewand gegenüber vom Netzteil geklebt. Seitlich habe ich zwei regelbare Lüfter montiert (Luftauslass). Den beiliegenden AMD Kühler habe ich durch u.g. Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.Black ersetzt. Hier auf den richtigen AM4 Typ achten!Die SilverStone SST-ES02-USB habe ich als Fernbedienung zum Einschalten installiert und eine Bluetooth 4.0 Maus zur Steuerung. Hier kann man alternativ auch sein Handy verwenden z.B. mit der APP Serverlose Bluetooth Tastatur und Maus Premium (3€).Im Benchmark blieben die Komponenten alle weit unterhalb der Temperaturgrenzwerte. Im Bios habe ich alle Einstellungen auf Standard, auch die Lüfterkurven.
