Is there good protection when out of case for the screen and cameras?

I only take my phone out of the case to use a selfie stick which isn’t that often, also I have a tempered glass screen protector on, the main reason for my phone is the camera.

Does the action button work properly inside the case?

Sorry, can’t answer yet as still waiting for delivery of the iPhone for the case. So all I know so far is that it is much bigger than the 13 mini!
