Pricier than original part? Works as expected
This drop in part works just likes my original so ideal for my faulty one. The strange thing is, it is a few pounds more expensive than the OEM one which is a little strange. Even so, it works so have no complaints.

Doesn't Work With Pro Instapot
The media could not be loaded. I lost my original Steam Realse Top for my 6 qrt pot. I have a 6 & 8 qrt Insta Pro pots. I tried this 1 and tried to do a 20min. high pressure test. After 10min hitting start, it constantly released steam and would never would allow the cooker to switch to cook mode. This is the 2nd test I have done with this steam release top. I forgot to take video and pics during the 1st test. It did the exact same thing both times.DID NOT WORK WITH THE PRO VERSION of Instapot. Don't buy for the Pro Series, may work with other older versions.I Don't Recommend this product‼️

Good replacement part
We lost our original valve while moving and this replacement part fits perfectly on our Instant Pot.

Didn't fully seal
Product allowed a small amount of steam to release through the entire cooking process. It works but the smell gets all in the house. I. Hoping it will seal as I use it more.

30 minutes waiting it never sealed. Just kept steaming.
