Hero Clean Laundry Detergent, Odor Defeater, 45 Pacs

Love the smell, it may be overpowering for some I could see but I am personally okay with it. It does seem to help clean the junk stuck in the clothes that cause a stink shortly after wearing it (such as my Under Armor white base shirts and my work uniform base shirt. I use another product (not these companies) called "Arrest my Vest" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018F5SZLM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) in-between washes and feel I found a perfect match of products. I also soak the uniforms and vest carrier about once a month or two in yet another product called Rockin' Green Platinum Series Active Wear Laundry Detergent Powder (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075MPKB9X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and they say with that product you can just do a rinse cycle and not use any detergent but I personally follow it up still with the Hero pods. I basically never have a stinky vest or uniform anymore with the mix of all these mentioned products. The Hero pods were a little more expensive when I purchased them for about $15 for a pack of 45 pods. I generally use 3 pods at a time so I am really only getting about 15 loads out of this, so a $1 a wash load on average. Its price appears to have dropped down a few dollars which seems a little more reasonable. I will buy it again for sure.

I have used this stuff ever since I discovered it in my local Hardware store. I used to buy the liquid in the 100fl.oz bottle (when I used the local laundromat), but these packs make it that much easier now that I have my own washing machine. What I really like about this, is the scent. Not perfumie at all, but a nice clean scent that doesn't assault your nose or would gag a goat! Let your wife have her Gain, Tide, or whatever. Who knows, she might like this too! A portion of the company's profits go to help Veterans, as it was founded by a Veteran! He created Hero Clean to knock out the smell from uniforms, gear, and anything washable! I also use the Odor Eliminator on things not washable! Works better, in some ways, than Fabreez.

These pods smell alright. I notice that I need to use at least 2 if I want to notice the scent.. Probably a little over priced since you're required to use multiple.

Love this stuff. It cleans as good as anything I've ever tried and better than some. Doesn't cause my skin to break out. I love the scent. Gin is my favorite liquor, so pulling the clothes out and being reminded of that fresh, crisp smell is great. It could be a bit cheaper, but I just tell myself that some of the money goes to help veterans. That makes me less fussy about the cost.

No noticeable difference in cleaning effectiveness from that of any other quality detergent. I do prefer the scent of Hero to the girly scents of other detergents. They need to get the price down, I don't mind paying a little more for American made, but this is about double the price of Amazon's detergent (which I'm pretty sure is made in China but it doesn't list the origin on the label) and about a third more than Tide which is about the most expensive leading brand (and also likely made in China).

I wash my husband’s uniforms separate from all our other laundry. I can’t use fabric softener or any of that smell good stuff because if the material. I was looking for A detergent that smelled great, but also didn’t smell too flowery or anything over powering. My goodness did I hit the jackpot with this detergent. I love the smell, the packaging and what the company stands for that sells it. I use two pods for a load of clothes. Works great.

Easy to use … excellent smell…great value!!!

Expensive for what it is. While I don’t want an overly powerful scent, this detergent leaves practically no scent on clothing. I bought is specifically because of the what is a seemingly unique juniper scent. While the scent IS nice, it’s very very minimal and dissipates quickly. (Note: I only washed in cold and did not use the dryer, scent was gone by the time clothing air dried). I’m sure it cleans well enough, but my clothing doesn’t get overly dirty to begin with. Will definitely not be repurchasing.
