Q: What is the highest temperature these can take?

We didn’t use them in the oven. Taco shells were room temperature, but chicken and beef were piping hot and no one had issues. They were a big hit.

Q: Will these fit on a dinner plate?

Yes. We have average size dinner plates and they fit fine. If you want to add a bunch of other food on the side then maybe serving on oval dinner plates would look nice. Kind of like Mexican restaurants.

Q: can you microwave long enough to make hard taco shells? about 3 min

They are plastic. I would not microwave. Not sure how heat resistant they are. They are only meant for holding tacos, not for cooking.
