There is a thin (clear) plastic film on BOTH SIDES of the thin plexiglass type material, that require REMOVING prior to assembly. The black plastic frames are easy to slip on, and the 2 sides of those plastic frames are NOT the same! Upon assembly, I noticed that one side of the frame has a fairly plain (modern) look, the other has a tiny little lip-which I personally preferred...as it definitely accentuates your picture/print. Appreciate that the back is NOT cardboard, but a sturdy type of thin hardboard. Overall, I was quite impressed with these frames- easy assembly and definitely recommend!

This is the cheapest, most practical solution to framing posters. Very well made, sturdy, perfectly sized, easy to assemble and has good hooks in back for hanging either horizontally and vertically. Looks good on the wall. Comes with masonite backing and clear acetate to cover the artwork (acetate arrives protected by peel-off film so it is unmarred).

The frames are perfect for the canvas pictures I had purchased. Very simple to take apart and put back together. Sturdy, yet lightweight. They seem to be nice quality.

The frames were easy to assemble and get the photos in. We used them to display several of my husbands favorite stadiums! They are the cheapest option we could find, so they definitely aren't quality, but they do look very nice and have had no issues. Because they are on the cheaper end, they are very light and easy to hang up with just some command strips. The frames are just some plastic and cardboard sandwiched together with plastic frame strips that hold them together on the outside. I'd order again for other posters

Looks nice on the wall, very easy to put together, but the bottom pieces seem to slide and require readjusting often and either my poster size was incorrect or a frame was as I had to cut my poster for it to fit. They’re lightweight and creates a nice elevated look for the poster

We needed to hang some art by our oldest kid (the drawings were 25 years old, but we don't care) after we had repainted the living room. Unfortunately, the 3M strips I chose were not strong enough, so both pieces fell and the inexpensive frames broke. We found this set of 3 frames on Amazon, and the price fit our very tight budget. After getting new, stronger 3M strips, also from Amazon, I reframed the art. The frames were very simple to use; if you watch the instructional video, the process is exactly like that. But I don't think the video showed the consumers just how tricky FINDING the plastic film is. I just could not find the film on the second side of the acrylic when I framed the first piece of art, so I just let it go. But I DID find the second film on the second frame, using my hubby's new, super powerful magnifying glass (also from Amazon; I really dislike shopping these days). An "a-ha" moment. So I took the first frame apart, very easy, and using the magnifying glass, I found the second film. What a difference that made! Truly worth the effort of taking the frame apart. Putting it back together again was actually easier, since it was the third time I had assembled the frames. These are cheap, so they are light. One frame, all assembled with the art in it, was lighter than the backing of the original frame we got back in 1999, and that was a cheap, simple frame, too. So although these are cheap and light, that is a good thing, because your hanging system is less likely to fail, unless your hanging system is a thumbtack in drywall: that ain't gonna work! These frames are light, but not that light. And because they are so very simple, they will not attract any attention away from whatever you have in the frame. I am very happy with these frames. We shall see how they hold up. While I gave them 4 stars because they are so light and flimsy-feeling, there really is nothing wrong with these frames, and I would buy them again if I needed more. I still have one left (it's a package of 3 frames), so I am thinking of getting a photo blown up to fit this last frame. If you want a luxurious, expensive-looking frame for your print or photo, keep looking. But if you want simple and cheap, and easy to use, I strongly recommend these frames.
