The build is fun, but the caps fly off easily.
The build for this kit is simple, but fun, and the colors are as expected. The batteries are easy to install and the walking is cool. It seems like a cool gift, for a kid who likes dinosaurs.

Nice kit, more of a model than a toy
This is a nice kit with well molded parts and it very thoughtfully has the part numbers molded into the casting trees. The instructions are also generally good although a couple of diagrams were a bit puzzling. I am impressed with the clever design that automated so many of the parts on this mode. As a model I think it's great, if somewhat expensive. I would not recommend this as a toy though, it's pressed and snapped together and a few minutes of rough play would leave it needing reassembly.I got this for our 7 and 8 year old grandsons to assemble. After examining the kit, I think it is more appropriate for older kids, perhaps 10-12 and up. Lacking any available children of appropriate are I assembled it myself and enjoyed its engineering and design.

Bought this as a surprise for my son and he highly recommend it. Well made and fun, great toy to keep kids busy for a while.
