3s Lipo -Runs it very well.
Seriously can’t complain. I’ve been running this in a traxxas stampede on a 3s Lipo for 4 months now. Note: I’ve burned up a few motors. BUT Played in mud and rain, then washed in the kitchen sink more times than I can recall. I’ve had Zero issues with this product. Probably the best money I’ve spent upgrading this 3yr old rwd stampede since I purchased it. If you’re looking for a cheap brushed upgrade, then Buy it! You won’t regret it. Makes a stock setup Ridiculously fast for those on a small budget and already have a few lipo’s laying around. Oh, and a few brushed motors too; the motors tend to burn up running full throttle in loose sand and tall grass, or if you’re reversing instead of braking (there’s a 3 position switch on the esc to help save your motors). Don’t be turned off though, as burning up brushed motors at full throttle is not uncommon with or with out this setup. CHEERS!

Big power in a small form factor
Well i decided to try and experiment and use 2 of these one for each motor on a combat robot. Its been working fine for at least a month. Though they motors make the typical high Hz whine type noise all old brushed rc cars used to make. Roughly 80 lb bot loaded. The motors have a stall current of 160-170 amps, 5.6k rpm no load chain drive reduction of 4 to 1. Plenty of power.

No overheating, works great
I needed something small, cost effective, with brake options, and with an onboard fan to fit in a tight space, this works great! I used it to gut and upgrade my 2005/2006 1:6 Tumbler Batmobile, easy to setup, easy to use, and so far no overheating, thanks!

Definitely worth the money
This controller works very well. I changed the plug to be compatible with my new batteries and away I went. I bought this first controller and liked it so much I bought a second one just like it.

nice device
replaced the old mechanical speed controller on my Tamiya Hornet buggy. Works great and not stupidly expensive.
