Used these to hold up the butcher block counter of a coffee bar area in my house. These things are THICK--much thicker and heavier than I had anticipated. That said, I purchased these because my youngest is a monkey who climbs on all the things and I feel very confident that the counter is going no where. I used toggle bolt anchors to secure to my drywall in places where I didn't have studs and it has worked well so far.

They worked great. But I mounted them differently. I bought them long & tied them into the stud from behind & laying on top of the top cap in a routed notch. Solid as a rock.

the mounting hardware(screws) are very thick. and sturdy. but the inset on the support only on bottom side of mount. makes for difficult install when mounted on top of counter rather than in front

If you need countertop supports these are awesome to use as they are very strong and made well.
