This gauge for moisture is great. I tend to underwater my garden. This takes care of the question "to water or not to water". It is a game changer for me. This gauge works very well and is inexpensive.

Meter is on the top, unlike most others which require squatting down a lot to see the meter from the side and worse in the shadows. Sure there are some meters which rotate or have a detached probe but those IMO have more points of failure. This meter feels solid and the round body makes it comfortable to hold. The probe is much thicker and stronger than my previous meter which the probe end pulled off in the soil. I am not sure of the accuracy because I do not have another working meter to compare to. Very easy to read, unless you need to use it in hanging baskets, of course.

I've been using the Moistureland moisture meter for several months now and it's made a huge difference in the health of my plants. It comes with instructions that include a table of common houseplants and the moisture reading at which you should water them. For example, it says to water ferns at 6, pothos at 4, and snake plants at 2. By checking my plants every two or three days, I can quickly see which need water and, more importantly, which don't. This has cured my tendency to over water my plants. Money well spent.

I first bought a monitor that had several different testing abilities but, I soon found that it didn’t really work for what I really needed it for, which was to monitor the moisture so, I bought this one and I’m very pleased with how quickly it reads the amount of moisture in my plants and it seems accurate.

New to indoor plants and don’t want to kill them by being too dry or too wet . This thing is great ! Just push it down in the dirt and you know if you need to water your plant babies . Buy it !

Isn't on zero to start. So I'm not sure how accurate it is. Wouldn't buy this brand again

Easy to read and is acceptably accurate. That's what I was hoping for. No disappointment here.

My Moistenland P405 stopped working after 15 months of very light use. I’m disappointed and won’t purchase this brand again. Product warranty is only three months.
