GIN GINS Original Ginger Chews Made w/Fresh Ginger 1lb 1Pk

I purchased these on Amazon because they are a larger bag and much better value than what I could find locally. I use these when traveling for nausea and motion sickness. They work great to calm my stomach if I start to feel queasy. The ginger flavor is strong, which I love. They are super sticky and chewy, so I suggest sucking on it and letting it slowly dissolve. They are also good to suck on when you want just a little something sweet.

Gin Gins are my go-to for mild nausea relief and actually enjoyable to eat. The texture is chewy and soft, not hard or waxy, and not sticky at all. The ginger flavor is strong and real (10% actual ginger), not watered-down fake ginger. Gluten free and vegan, made with straightforward ingredients: cane sugar, glucose syrup, ginger, tapioca starch, rice flour, soy lecithin, salt, and citric acid. Contains soy; made in a facility that also processes peanuts. High quality, highly recommend.

I have been using these for years to help with nausea. I carry them in my car for car sickness. They are a bit sticky in texture and you have to be careful when eating them if you have crowns but they are more convenient than caring fresh ginger and they taste great. Buying them in bulk like this is a better value than buying the small packages. They are easy to digest but do contain a great deal of sugar is that is an issue for you, and they only contain 10% ginger according to the package. Each piece is in a durable wrapper that does not come open in your purse or pocket.

These candies were first recommended to me when I started taking a GLP that made me very nauseated. Gingins made a huge difference and helped me stay at work when I felt quite ill. Now, I share them with others when they aren’t feeling well, and receive gratitude from those I’ve shared the candies with. Huge help! Highly recommend. They do have a spicy kick to them and they are chewy, but I enjoy the flavor and don’t mind the texture.

I have these auto-shipped every month (I should buy stock in their company after how many I've purchased. I get 4 x 1lb bags every month). The original chewies, they are addictive. I bought them originally for post surgical nausea. The ginger taste is snappy, warm/spicy, and so good. Chewy. CHEWY. Not soft and chewy like those "australian licorice" tabs. These are....chewy. Individually wrapped in little foil slips. Fresh, never sticky or gooey, they have a little bit of powder probably the tapioca starch, to keep them from sticking to the packet. The 1 lb bags I buy...are 1lb. If you ration yourself to 2-3 gingers per day, they last a month. I personally don't, therefore, I buy multiple bags. I just like them that much. The ginger settles my stomach immediately, if I'm nervous or tired or have had a bad day, I chew a couple of these and I feel BETTER. Not high calorie (45cal per piece). The size of the ginger is...maybe 2.5"? not tiny, but not so big that you can't just pop it in your mouth and chew for a few minutes. The quality has been top notch and consistent ever since I've started purchasing them, which has been about a year. They are not "sugary"--not by any stretch--the ginger overrides that sugar taste....you get a warm, snappy, spicy taste after the first few chews on a piece and that gingery goodness lasts long after your tab is gone. As I said, I have these on auto-ship...they're great for nausea or nervousness, but they're also just good to snack when you need a pick me up. That said. I am NOT a fan of any other flavor. I tried Orange and Lemon. They're too soft, they DO chew like the "australian licorice" tabs. The flavor is kind of strange as well--I personally purchased these FOR the ginger flavor. I didn't like the overt orange or lemon mixing in, it detracted from the enjoyment of the ginger flavor. So if you just don't like the flavor of ginger, these other types may be for you---if you also don't like CHEWY, these would be more up your street. I personally do not care for them. The quality is the same. The "extra strength" gingers are hard candies, not chewies. I didn't like them at all. Again, that's me. I purchase the original chewies in plain ginger flavor because they are chewy, strong, tasty and do the job I need them to do. Great buy, and I hope they never go out of business.

These ginger chews are so delightful, and about the only candy I eat anymore. (Okay, you got me—these ginger candies plus the occasional Dove dark chocolate). I like to say that's because of the health benefits of ginger—and there are several—but mainly they are just so tasty! What I don't like, though, is that each candy comes wrapped in plastic, and all the little guys together come in a plastic bag. That's a lot of plastic to deal with, and much of it isn't recyclable and will go into the waste stream, where much of it winds up in our waters, harming our aquatic wildlife and their environment. Jeff, you must have a lot of influence with these companies. Can't you get them to wrap their individual candies in waxed paper and put them in [bamboo] paper bags?

These work really well for GLP1 nausea. They taste great, not too sweet and are actually pretty addicting, but they are a little high in calories so I try to only eat a few a day. I usually just end up sucking on them instead of chewing them.

Delicious. Very very gooey and sticky, but well worth it. When I get hoarse or get a sore throat, it helps my throat right away.

no expiry date makes you uneasy to consume candy and the white stuff said to be sugar but looks like mould

I'm addicted to gin gins. It's a little treat that i like to have after lunch. They taste great, are soft and chewy and help with digestion. I have to limit myself to one a day. I love when they come in these 2 pound packs as well
