Solid tool on my belt, I'll keep buying more
Love these things, the weakest link is ethernet cable and how expensive lay flat variety can get. Still use these every week for the past 2 years only 1 channel failure out of 8 snake sets. Cannot complain with that survival rate given we are grinding out college bar events and recording sessions with them non stop. So a bit harder use than a studio install if ya know what I mean.

The 3’ fantail is convenient, These units really clean up the stage. Well made.

This is a great product.
This device is a well-built piece of equipment from the tough extruded aluminum case to the CAT6 jack, cables and XLR plugs. The quality continues in the inside with a PCB and excellent solder joints. You can’t go wrong buying this product.I'm using these rewire my church's stage. Our two 75' snakes are deteriorating and we have a bunch of XLR cables crossing the stage. We're moving from a Yamaha mixer in the sound booth to a Mackie DL32S remote digital mixer just behind the stage. I don't want pull mike and instrument cable under the stage. Shielded CAT6 is a lot cheaper than individual good XLR cables. We’re going to run many CAT6 cables and solder them to faceplates with 2 or XLR jacks. We’ll use product to convert the CAT6 to standard XLR plugs for the mixer.

Improper wiring of inputs and outputs
I did not use all the boxes I ordered right away. When I did I discovered that not all of them I received where wired correctly.. Number two input went to number 3 output and so on. So, I had to relabel my box as to not cause a problem when hooking them to the mix rack. Please check all input and outputs when you receive your order to make sure they are wired properly.

Rugged, solid connections. My studio looks clean and sharp now!
These are easily the best things I've bought for my project studio in the past 10 years. They are built like tanks. The cables are both pliable and rugged and the connectors are solid locking connectors. It's dirt simple. Plug in a Cat6 (I think they work with Cat5 too) cable between the male and female sets and it's the same as running four long XLR cables. Phantom doesn't send across the Cat6, or I haven't figured out how if it does, but for dynamic mics these things have saved me major cabling headaches. My studio looks clean and sharp now. Very very happy. If these guys come out with a bigger snake, I will be first in line.

Works great!
These are surprisingly high quality for the price. Granted the XLRs are Neutrik or Switchcraft but the build is surprisingly good. I've used them for Com, DMX and Mic/Line runs. You need a shielded ethernet cable in order to use phantom power for condenser mic.

These are awesome!
I replaced a big, ugly, ungainly 8 channel audio snake with these devices and 2 cat6 cables. No noise, no reduction in freq response, they just work. 100 feet - no apparent losses. Amazing.
