What a fine piece of craftsmanship. I would probably pay more for such fine workmanship. It even has a hole to hang it so it won't get smashed up lying on the work-bench, and is professional enough to say 'Standard at 20oC' -- yes, those of us who are engineers will appreciate that, and the other notes: "1 Metre = 39.37in." "1 inch = 25.4mm." Complete with periods after the abbreviations! This ruler is a work of art "Made in England". I think I will visit their website and see what else they have that I can justify buying. This one is more of a brushed finish like you see on chinese imports rather than the matte finish so not so good when using with laser levels.
