Easy to use and works well.

I will start by saying that the test meter is made of cheap material. The screen is constantly flashing. I understand that this may be because of transport length affecting battery according to the manual, but manufacturers knowing this should have took out the battery and wrap it and leave for customers to put it themselves. The other issue is the accuracy. I tried to calibrate the meter, and the first pH is 4.0. When I mixed the pH powder in the water and stirred it (according to the manual), I have gotten inaccurate result as seen on the image. Instead of 4 or very close to it +- 0.05 i get 3.5 which is 0.5 less. This is a huge issue if you are trying to ferment vegetables or do any kind of fermentation. I will definitely buy more expensive, accurate and better built meter. This one is like a toy.

So far so good. It's pretty accurate and helps me preserve my test strips when I want to test the pH in my shrimp tank. I have only used it a few times and based on similar ones I've owned in the past wonder how long it will last. They did include calibration material so that's a plus.

Simple to calibrate. Easy to use. A relief to know what our home tap water pH is. Inexpensive solution too ? Of what pH solutions are.

I purchased this while putting together a kit to ferment hot sauce. Followed the instructions to calibrate the meter with the three Ph Buffer solutions provided. When I tried to use it the meter bounces around wildly and can’t settle on a reading even after a few minutes. Plus the range of readings displayed make no sense. I cleaned it and tried again with tap water and it couldn’t even take a reading of that! (but the meter was pretty sure it was somewhere in the range of 3 - 5 ph as if that makes any sense.) Then the power button malfunctioned and it wouldn’t turn off and the backlight on the display went out.Unfortunately by the time my ferment was finished and it was ready to test the return window on this piece of junk had closed. Lesson learned…I should have tested it immediately upon receipt. Buyer beware.

I had PH testing strips but I wanted to have something which could give me a more accurate number. That's why I bought this product. I measured the water coming out of my 6 stage RO water filtration system and it shows 10.5! wow! this is the number you should get when a tea spoon of baking soda is dissolved in cup of water. Then I added a few drops of vinegar to the cup and measured about 4.5. I repeated the same measurement with my strips and fresh water from filter and tap water. All were about the same 7-8. I'm not a chemist and don't know what this product is showing (whether the Alkaline and PH are different,...) but this is not showing PH and I'm returning it.Most probably all of the products in this price range have the same problem and to get a real PH meter I think you've got to pay way more...

After calibrating it works well but without constant calibration the meter becomes in accurate after one use
